I use those rings in generally too, but i have a pure dd set (if you know you have a competent healer or you want to kill the efc healer) with Band of Foul Strength, Thorbias gauntlets and Redbeards.

I'd just go for the str, unless you need the DPR for hit cap. Really it's up to personal choice though.

I dont know , strength increases base damage ... means if i crit i do more damage , still DPR increases Hit + Crit chance ... i dont really know tho im going for the strength 1 i think !
