What made you go Alli/Horde?

Even with the eyepatch, Alliance vs Horde 1V1s with both of the same class should be pretty equal IMO.

Just saying.
 
Started f2p as alliance because that's what I used to play. Rolled horde after like a month, on Spirestone to see what their teams were actually like...as seen from the non-dead side of the game.

I mostly play horde now, and after having done so for a while..I'm really enjoying all the horde quests where you kill night elves and nelf hunters!
 
Played the Human race since Warcraft I and II, and even in Warcraft III.

I'm currently twinking a Tauren Priest though because I could use a change and Alliance is heavily advantaged in terms of players etc.
 
I started ally in this bracket because I was trying to get a friend into the game and figured she didnt want to play a undead or a cow, the realm I picked also had ally mains with 2-3 person mounts to make the whole thing easier. After that I went back to horde and stay on that side.

No, just no. Alliance might have eyepatch which is very favorable for rogues/hunters, now casters on the horde side are awarded some reallyyyy great crit gear, wands and overall alot more choices. There is also the racial aspect, but all in all it all comes down to the individual player skill levels of both teams.
 
I play both horde when i want to play a lot and ally when i want to bitch about long queues a lot.
 
Because my least favourite race is a night elf. So I want to kill them. DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
HORDE...shorter ques,more diverse races, no gnomes, not as many problem with kiddie trolls locking out chat ....

-No digital character flirting going around
-More adults/older
-More unique races and characteristics

Cons:
-Horrible, gloomy map
-Places are not conveniently located, instead they are EXTREMELY far away from each other
-Rare to find other Horde players outside of cities
-No eyepatch :(
-Harder to navigate
-Have to constantly ride on Zepplins

I find Horde, atleast on the US servers, are more immature than Alliance.

And since when are kids automatically bad? There are plenty of kids or teenagers out there that are smarter/more worth talking to, than adults.

But I do have to agree that the races are better. and I agree with your cons. Though when I get back from Summer vacation, I am making a Horde warlock. :p
 
When I first started f2p, I rolled Alliance because I look sharp in leather headgear, and hadn't learned to walk forwards yet. I soon developed an attraction (non-sexual) to the horde graveyard. Then I figured out I could actually spend more time in the graveyard if I just did bg's as horde.
 
wanted 2 min trinket, dubble agm and increased stealth detect.
2 min trinket was a must at 39 because of blind in rvr, but perhaps I should have choosen a different race. Never thought it would be this compettitive (turnaments). shadowmeld for cluch sap after fear beats +12stam.
Rogue is getting raped in MOP so I dont mind with human til I have to change class.

Allliance for PvE/PvM.....
Horde for PvP

I guess for casual pve/help fellow f2p's boost their medium rare achivement, or just find some random stuff which i cant use. Also ally does have more aestehtically appealing races(such as nelf/draenei, the fem ones obv), while horde (not so much with the tauren and goblins), i really dont care since pixels dont turn me on



Horde since insta quele, not as long quest chains, i guess some racials are very OP(tauren, for example, a whoppin 20 nature resistance, 2 second stun AND increased HP. I would rather have that then every man for himself).Then again mine is undead since i hate tauren with a passion since the WC3 RoC with the orcish campiagn mission where you assist the orcs n such
