What made you go Alli/Horde?

Just wondering... What made you go Alliance or Horde for your 'main' F2P home?

I went Alliance mostly because my main is on Alliance, and it turns out my home server, Moon Guard, has the third biggest Alli F2P community on the US. Even though i am a feral, I surprisingly did it NOT for the superior gear choice (Although I take advantage of the Alli's better gear).

I also went Alli on my home server because I can have my main account on another tab and run me through dungeons to gear whenever I roll a F2P.

Ally was familiar, I knew the cities and it was just easier I suppose.

I had originally played horde as my first wow experience and when F2P came around I just played ally for some reason, then when I made my first AP toon it was ally cause I was used to it. Then I went horde cause I am pure evil, a true barbaric nightmare of evilness.

I'm a grim bloody fable, with an unhappy bloody end!

I was alliance at first because it was the faction Ive always played on my paid account, so it felt natural to pick it for my f2p account. But Ive pretty much gone Horde recently. When I want to pvp, I want to pvp...not wait in a que for 14-25 minutes. Even though I JUST got my DMF mount on Mizzy. OTL

Initially I was ally because I just like playing ally, nelf is my favorite race (they're so bouncy idontthinkuunderstand) ....

But then I made a horde toon on a whim, and the queues were so much faster, and I started to notice the practically unlimited supply of magnetically-attracted-to-the-gy hunters ally side, and I just stopped playing my ally toon. Maybe when queue times for the alliance go down I'll go back to bouncing.

So, when i first played wow i was a lil kid. I saw a beta test review from one guy who happened to test the UD start area, so that was where I started, as a UD male, coz I though it was like so cool to start in a gloomy creepy crypt with weird undeads with weird faces! So i leveled up my rogue to lvl 10. Then I though "oh god those rogue animations are quite boring..." Then for some odd reasons I went alliance gnome (maybe because they were so little and weird and I would picture a mage as a gnome one...) Was a lot of fun, finally I rolled a Rogue troll because seriously, their animations are the coolest in the game (the way they walk, their /dance, the way they /flex, the way they run... their Kick as a rogue :D) and I upped him to lvl 60 :D Then I realised how much I loved the whole Horde thing, from the towns, to the "lok thar" etc... so I never looked back on Alliance.

So as a F2P I couldn't stand going Alliance NE (I wanted to make a druid) because my favorite race/gender IG is female tauren, and also for the fact that caster gear is better on Horde side and for the better...Coz the community seemed funnier on Horde side^^
Now I don't think i'd go Ally cause even in Bg, horde just feels way better (lot of premades, not so many hunters) and has better mogs (JK)
Anyway.... that's my story!

No, I do not think you guys are understanding the inherent bounciness of Night Elves. :( You just focus on bouncing anatomy.

No. :/

Also, I went Horde for the lore and stayed for the people, but I like Alliance as well. ^^

I went alliance because.. they're all so nice

jk gy-farming faction#1

Was originally alliance because Earl lured me into F2P. Went horde after 6 months and I've been here ever since.

I went horde initially for male undead casting animations, made an alli priest because i heard they were doing more arenas.

Back when i 1st began f2p in September of last year, i started off with a NE rogue which made it to 19. After i deleted her i just began to create other random classes but i could never really decide what exactly i wanted to do. Somehow i choose a BE paladin and i just stuck with it ever since, and also Horde get better Q times so i guess that kinda helped a bit

alliance since it was my first time and just picked whatever. After questing a bit and getting lost I switched to horde where i found the questing more fun because of the lore.
