What level are people hard capping at?

It would seem that the 615 items are available from 97 actually.
But how? The link that i posted shows that you get the 615 stuff through 98 daily dungeon rewards. The 97 daily dungeon only contains 600 gear.

As for the 615's, I know they have to exist somewhere, wowhead has them listed.. I just don't get how I'm supposed to get them..
Like i said, should be possible to obtain them through 98 daily dungeon quests. My mage will hit 98 today and i will report back later what is in those chests. I did a 94 daily dungeon earlier and got 570 item like it should. You can see those 570 legs in my armory, this is one of the 94 daily dungeon reward.

Capped my monk at 98. Did some random battlegrounds yesterday, had <10min queues @ EU horde. Been running as brewmaster (of course, duh) for now, but I would like to try WW and MW too. Has anyone tried healing? Is it horrible, will I feel completely useless and just end up crying myself to sleep? What kind of gear should I get for a healer, which scales the best? I'm not the best player, I just play random battlegrounds and I haven't really healed much at all. Will most likely end up in tears anyway. Still interested though! :p

Little update:

Just hit 97 and did the skyreach daily dungeon, the treasure contained a 600 item. So now it should be clear that you can get 615 not before 98.

for brewmaster you should currently just stack bonus armor, check out the thread in the 60-69 bracket subforum for BiS tank gear, most of it will be BiS here aswell.

615 Gear at level 97 - Forums - World of Warcraft

Is the forum response I got on the 615 item issue
To be honest. No one answered your question :)
'cause the boots you linked are the 98 rewards, not the 97 ones. And if your treasure upgrade procs it will give each item 10 item level and the status epic (I couldn't find any information about 625 epic gear for 98+ chars, so ...). I'm still going with my suggestion so far.
*update: looked through wowdb and wowhead to find a plate belt which can be 625 and be worn before 100. There isn't one ... 2 possibilities, the one in the thread lied to you or the databases are incorrect.
->

I have both, the lunarfall inn and the dwarven bunker. As soon as i get a 98 daily or a loot proc i will report back. Got another 97 daily today :/

You can't get 615 gear from dungeons. The best you can get is 600 from Skyreach.

You can stop at 98 if you want. That gives you the entire nagrand zone for quest/treasure/rare drop upgrades which you can then sort out the rest of your gear depending on what you get, as well as getting the 640 legendary chain ring.

No reason not to go 99, you lose a tiny bit of mitigation and gain a bit of health.

In 6.1, a crafted alch trinket is being introduced which is 253 mastery passive, proc of main stat for 1350 for 15 seconds. Crafted items will also be able to be upgraded to 4/4, which is still 91+.

90-99 bracket info #2 - Forums - World of Warcraft

2nd post shows a lot of what we've tried so far.

Going to quote some general information

Hi

Here's the thing. It's all around old content set bonuses. There are certain ones which will probably give you the most damage, so I guess would be considered BIS, but generally it's about basing yourself to a certain playstyle. There are some set bonuses which will be pure damage, and some which will be about utility, both can work just as well. Have a look at all of them and choose what sounds the best to you and your particular playstyle.

The general gearing process is:
2x 1 set
2x 1 set
pvp gloves (for bonus if useful)
2x t6 as bracers/belt if the set bonus is useful.
AB boots (move speed) (hunters/enhances have access to the Earthen Netherscale Boots which are better than AB boots)
Legendary chain ring
Upgraded quest ring or Revered ICC ring (exalted gives a gem slot but loses more stats from scaling)
Crafted weapon/offhand
Crafted Trinket
Legendary Cape or Crafted Cape.
Crafted offpiece item if you aren't already capped. Note: the crafted offhand items do not count towards your 3/3 crafted limit. This DOES NOT apply to crafted shields, they count towards 3/3. Crafted off-hand weapons for dual wielders do count towards 3/3.

Anything else is quest upgrades or quest items, usually.

The other important thing to note, is the randomness of the offpieces. You will be building your character around the upgrades you get in your Spire/Nagrand questing/rares/treasures. It's good to have a general idea of what you want to gear, but nothing will be certain until you've done those zones completely. You might get a 590 ilvl thing and be meh, or you might get an upgrade to 620-630 and suddenly it's BIS.

Make sure to build a bunker/warmill asap, as it doubles your chance for item upgrades, which applies to quest items, rare drops, and treasures.

Lastly, here's a few armories for general gearing information:

MW Monk: Yogurt @ Frostmourne - Community - World of Warcraft
Enhance Shaman: Flexmaster @ Mannoroth - Community - World of Warcraft

And another update :)
Finally figured out why you can't get the 615 daily rewards @ 98. Blizzard changed those quests and their requirements. They are all 100 heroic dungeon quests now.

Killed my mage and I'm going with a 99 rogue now. That mastery bug for frost mages is still a pain in the *** and i don't think that the developers will fix it ever.
