with Transmodulation coming, what would be the best vendorable item to stock? preferably an item that can be BOUGHT from a vendor!

I'm asking this because of our 10 gold cap, i know we can literally do 5 quests to max our gold again, but still!

Another good one I just found yesterday is the crappy gems from Hellfire in Outland (http://www.wowhead.com/item=28458). The vendor sells them for 2g a piece, unlimited supply, and they sell back for 50s. Not as much gold lost from other items, but still a good return amount. If they are in stacks of 20, then you can get 10g a stack making it REALLY easy to vendor to exactly 10g.

Unless I'm wrong, everything sells back for 25% of what you paid for it. Reputation bonuses may apply, I'm not sure, but the base forumula for buyback is 25% of purchase cost. So it really doesn't matter what you buy, and the best things to buy are the ones that capture gold in the increments you want and that stack well. Eternium Thread and Walnut Stock are the two that people use most often, as they are readily found in all capitol cities.

Once you have all the gear you need, you can use JP to buy vendor mats in Shat. 4k JP and 4k HP to buy another 2.5k JP is like carrying around an extra 200g without taking up any extra bag space. Just keeping trading them in as you get close to capped. As for gold generally, anything expensive that stacks. If you can buy it with exalted discount, you obviously lose less gold.

If you purchase the Primal Nethers, which are the most efficient JP to gold item, it's effectively 2s per honor.

Maybe not as fast as running randoms with instant queue, but still very profitable.

good thing I'm exalted with stormwind already then, i've decided to go with stocks, time to stock up ... when the servers are online.

i've already started trading in my honour for JPs, like 400-800 more honour left for my chest loom.

^This. I was curious about stockpiling myself, but after looking at it I realized its all the same. Just find something that is easily accessible and stacks well.

Elemental Flux(Easy access, and can be stored in a mining pouch, allowing for 20 stacks of 20, which of course, means over 9,000)

My suggestion might not be the best item to stock and sell. But most would agree that the items listed below would be the most satisfying benefiting society and the enviroment.

Items: (loot hunter corpses)
-Eyepatches
-Bows/Guns
-Dead pets for trophies

meh i'm just stocking the worthless archeology items that cost 10g each.

edit: i know it isn't an item(s) that vendors don't stock but it does earn a notation on here.
