While Die Hard features the inimitable Alan Rickman (RIP), the best Christmas movie is, without a doubt, It's a Wonderful Life. It has an angel named Clarence, plus Jimmy Stewart in his prime and the lovely Donna Reed. Need I say more?

My friends had a VERY heated debate about whether Diehard is a Christmas movie or not, and it really makes me want to watch it for the first time this Christmas.

Die Hard isn't a Christmas movie (at best, it's "Christmas adjacent") but if we're going with "best movie that takes place during Christmas but isn't actually about Christmas" then Kiss The Girls is clearly the superior movie.

But no. The right answer is Muppets Christmas Carol and this is a hill I will die on
