what is the benefit of running windwalker over rogue in premades

Can't really compare like this since they aren't even similar classes

ww is basically for an all out mid comp its a good replacement to rogue when you are double hunter

I was terrible at it and it was only two real I'd Premades, but what they had me do was just get chi and call kill targets and when I landed them right we got a kill and magical things happened.
 
Simple answer, double hunter and rog is over kill and you lose mid potential, overall rog is weak compared to every other class, there is no place an FC can go where a WW or a hunter cant get there even faster.

Both are strong FC's but the Windwalker has a lot more mobility while the rogue has a lot more survivability. You need to weigh the stats as well, since rogues are invisible they have a much easier time getting across mid to pick up the flag, where as windwalkers need to hide in bushes. Windwalkers have a taunt though, which in my opinion puts them just slightly above rogue when looking for a FC in premades

k why would the role of monk not be predictable? sounds pretty scripted to me. 'oh look saxx is charging in like browntown, must be going for another fist on laurasia' since laura is a boss shes just going to pre guise.. '321 boom hes dead!'. meanwhile our fc is crossing uncontested because you decided to not use a rogue. gj team.

no shit rogues are weak but they have one of the most important roles. i would still use a rogue every time in a premade if the only ability they had was sap. mobility means nothing when you can spam sap the fc. fucking youredead on her lock could make it there in 3 dr saps.

I personally don't think there is a benefit pay the mid fight. The only was to justify this would be to make sure efc never crosses.

k. what? hypothetically say you use a ww. you're in mid, your fc somehow dies, if that happens, im assuming your team is getting fucked up. your ww is marblea. so hes probably dead in the gy as well. there goes that plan. meanwhile, a rogue could just breeze by and grab the flag... but i honestly don't ever see why a rogue would grab the flag .. at 19s anyways. you literally die to a wet noodle. I would be sapping the EFC, slowing them down, so our team can regroup and while thats happening darkchewie is already up tunnel. boom game saved because of a rogue.

WW can punish over extenders because can get fisted outta heals range, provide a second lust for your healers to get out when getting dived, and have the ability to get enemy trinkets basically on command, WW can basically suicide bomb and trade for a healer, thats basically the pros, rogues are overrated right now because most teams run 4 healers and go for heavy mid dominance

game just isnt really played around rogue right now, not like rogue is bad at all, just most people dont run it.

i just think you're putting too many marbles into one bag. despite how dominant your team might be in mid using a WW, the opposing team will be able to sustain the punishment long enough for their FC to skedaddle across mid uncontested. Saps are just so crucial on halting the enemy FC long enough for your team to send units to take that EFC out while maintaining a mid presence.

The point of WSG is getting the flag across, not holding mid.

who says ur uncontesting? u can literally contain GY and send 2 hunters back to do the job or atleast hold FC in ur base, if 6 stacks hits hes fucked and no ones gettin out the gy
