I dont know what the other shamans are talking about when they say they never go oom. In a good midfight in which i can actually do damage, i dip to 300mana before i have to back off and regroup. While this is usually not the case, its good to me to have the extra mana.

From all the data that i have collected from your speeches that 22 int is better for mages and pallies, not sure for shammies. The Crit is an extra 1+% and increases your overall damage and healing by that much therefor better then 8 sp which i dont know how much damage that does. If 8sp is more then +1% damage or healing then the 30 sp should be better.
