EU+US What class should I choose?

Hello there.

I've been thinking about leveling a new twink to 60, but I am completely lost with which class I should take.

Which class is the most fun, and is one of the best classes at the moment, as a level 60 twink?

Give me your reasons and ideas of which class I should pick. I am open to everything!

Another question about the level 60's community:
Are there any level 60 twink Guild on Argent Dawn (EU), who's active?
 
I think Rogues are fun because all three specs are viable and they are good but not super imba.

Ret is imba to the point that it is kinda too easy and not as fun.

I don't have a 60 DK but 59 is pretty similar, it is good at spamming out damage but not super fun IMO and has some serious flaws like lack of an interrupt at this level.



Other classes/specs that I have not played but have played against enough to make a judgment.... Arcane mages are good if you have support and can freecast but you have to enjoy that turret/burst playstyle.

Priests are broken for healing if that's your thing, nerfs may help that.

Warriors are competitive and quite good



Or if you want to be special, things that I basically never see:

  • elemental sham
  • warlocks of any kind
  • hunters of any kind
 
Survival Hunter, ret and fury is those classes that are the esiest to deal dmg with even without Gear...
BM is equal or even better when having tio Gear. Frost dk are Good works as a tunnel vision burster.. No mind freeze at 60 but u dont need it

59 and 60 dk is something different..

You have frozen pulls at 60 wich gives i tons of procs from rof and other wep procs..

Somehow dragons call seem to proc most from There and Also from remoreless winter... Generals sword with a 20 strenght boost is Also sick..

I see alot ppl running around with wierd Enchants, gems, trinkets etc.. ofc u DO trash dmg Then.

Fun is subjective.

If you mean whats OP @ 60, that's different. From a healers perspective ( I play Disc mostly @ 60 ) Warriors, F DK, Enh. Shaman, Boomies are probably top tier.

If i was looking at another 60 to level I'd go Druid, currently has 3 viable specs, with different play styles all can be effective. From a distance Enh. looks to be both competitive and a bundle of fun

We have a 60 Community on EU Horde, not sure if there's one on Alliance.

Yeah idd, we got a community with 8-9 twinks in every evening.. mostly doing premades.

Planning to go back to mah mw soon and Clap some bgs. 25 k hks has Been farmed since bfa release :)

Holy double post xD. @Monkeyflip ive been doing some 2s off and on with a cool 60 pally in my guild and I play feral he plays ret. I’ve noticed that feral at 60 is also super strong and fun. So much mobility team heals and utility in roots and rot damage. What they lack in energy regen they make up for in pressure. And just a heads up, it performs well and I’m nowhere close to bis
 
Arcane and Boomies are really strong at the moment thanks to some recent spice from hotfixes, and if my brother didn't already have both of those I would roll one no doubt.

60-80 is very fotm. Thanks to the exp rates in BGs compared to questing, many players rolling those new characters planning to take them to endgame will PvP through those levels. For this reason, at the present I would roll a toon with a ranged option, as being kited by the plethora of mages coming through is a pain.

Beyond that, most classes are in a pretty good place and can do well with the right gear. Survival Hunt really do have the best kit though, and that is demonstrated by the fact they haven't received a single buff since BFA started.
 
I’ve geared my warlock and it is hella fun.

You have to build your damage up and it’s a nightmare vs melee 1v1 but it can pump out some serious numbers. Rogues aren’t much of an issue which is nice!

My warrior is just face roll. Not much can survive it’s burst apart from a disc or geared mw monks.

But again, the lack of self heals and defensives makes other classes such as ret or ww really difficult to deal with 1v1.


If you’re playing on your own I’d suggest going for a hybrid. Paladin, Druid or monk. They can hold their own without a pocket healer.

If you have a healer or don’t mind the challenge pick anything you want. Nearly every class is viable and can do decent damage when geared.

In demonology my pets bladestorm ticks for 700 - 1000! Pretty funny setting him on someone for him to solo them :)
 
I'm pretty new to this bracket, but I run Priest in other brackets and its my first toon to gear in this one and I love it...but I may be biased because its my favorite class :p. Disc is great in bg's, because of course it is, and even being just partially geared I push out a considerable bit of healing (not a brag, its just a strong spec). Holy is also enjoyable and effective with general pve when you do dungeons, gearing etc.

I think Glory hit the nail on the head though, I haven't heard of any specs so far that were just terrible, so you can probably make anything reasonably competitive if its a spec you like/are good at playing.
 
Discs is top fotm class, due to their foccused Will passive dmg red they are tanky as fuck..

Mw got THE best healing tho but kicked on cast and uve got trubbelllul

Wheres all the ferals and frost dks?

Ppl seem to only go for warr,discs, mages atm
