What bracket after HOA/Azerite nerf?

What I dont understand is that prior to cataclysm, stupidly OP quest rewards were tolerated in the lvl 19 bracket (I.e. inferno robes, jutebraid, etc). It gave players a clear advantage in pvp, and were never hotfixed/nerfed.

Fast forward to SL pre patch, basically everything that isnt 1 or 2 ilvls higher than your character level is getting the nerf bat...?

It feels like they just want to standardize every item to prevent players from making twinks.

As lvl 45 - 50 gear is your baseline drop from BFA and Legion and Legion gear also can warforge to 60. For BFA one of the best sources of gear is air drop crates and crate during invasions they drop Corrupted Aspirant gear and decent chunk of azerite as bonus (sadly, right now you can't realm hop via group finder so you have to wait for them on you shard). Also now you can que for any particular dungeon instead of 3 faction specific.

Sadly you'r no longer can solo dungeons like you could before prepatch dropped.

Another really good source of potential gear is Broken Shore relinqueshed tokens - they cheap (400 nethershards a piece) and transform into 50 (60 Warforged) pieces of gear with random stats and chance for a socket to prock.

P.S. Thanks for bringing my attention to Warforged multisocketed gear from Siege of Orgrimar. Right now I'm looking for a good trinkets to farm.

Siege of orgrimmar use to be really strong now gems have been nerfed Hellfire Citadel if you can get lucky either sockets its nearly the same stats, of the gems were 5/5 again siege of org and throne of thunder gear would be so strong for secondary stats.

Strongly advise the throne of thunder some really good gear and sockets lots and lots of them

Any tips on broken shore? How does getting the gear work.

Do the introduction quest from dude near construction table (visit 2 points and kill few demons) after that you unlock archmage that sells stuff for nethershards. Then I just fly around the broken shore collecting chests - each chest 100 nethershards completing legion invasions also rewards some nethershards. Rarely the items from her can prock savant - single stat items.

I'm not 100% sure that you can do it as 40 thou - it was endgame content in Legion. Same goes for Argus - the relinquished trinkets from vendor there can prock any Legion trinket which has a huge potential but Argus purely scaled and collectiong 650 Veiled Argulite is a pain. before prepatch you could solo those rares in 30 seconds with good burst now you use Sigthless Eye toy to sneak past then and collect the chests.

I've found after 13 years of twinking that if it sounds too good to be true, it is, and it will be nerfed lol. I didn't even bother farming HoA pieces and I'm laughing at everyone that did XD
