So I am about to redeem a Scroll of Resurrection, and will proabably (more likely than unlikely) at this stage to pay for a month of gametime.

I know quite a few of you now have pet Lv85s, just wondering how the boosting/aid/assistance its been. Also wanting to know whats the endgame scene like on AP Horde.... easy to find groups, raids, BGs?

Options I've considered:
1. Bring my fresh 85 DK from Frostmourne
2. Boost a fresh 80 Mage (to level to 85)

One very important question that I hope other P2Ps can answer for me: How long are 85 DPS queues for 5-mans/raid finder on Hordeside?

Any suggestions/etc.?

According to Riot, bgs are badd for horde in this battle group, but I have found its pretty even, maybe I just have bad luck!

Battlegroups don't exist anymore. I have an 85 alliance and horde and from my experience the same of 20 is true at 85; Horde have faster queue times but alliance tend to win more often. It also changes somewhat depending on when you're on.

And to Purse - If you're just going to use it as a pet for your 20s and have zero interest in endgame, solvo is probably right. Imo, you should enjoy your free 80 and pick a class youre interested in! I personally am absolutely in love with my fire mage at 85. Rogue is fun too.

As for queue times.. I honestly have never done a single 5 man at 85 because pvp gear is so ezmode to get. LFR takes anywhere from 12-25 minutes to get you into DS. I still havent gotten any item of use from DS raid finder though...

Edit: The warlock I scrolled on AP horde is still at 82. I've had practically no use in leveling it, it seems like AP horde endgame is pretty dead. That being said, WoW is really much less an MMO than it used to be. You can get very decent gear in solely the dungeon finder / raid finder / bgs. If you're looking at high level pvp gear all you really need is one other competent player. I don't know when you last played endgame, but my experience is that everything has drastically changed from vanilla/TBC and you could play WoW as a single player game

Play what you like (same thing we tell twinks).

But if you do xfer your dk, make a dk on the other faction first before you xfer, then you can have 2 dks on the same realm.

We currently have...

Rogue - Goldenpays (Goldendays)
Warrior - Berserk (Miamivice)
Priest - Kintink (Kinetic)
Feral - Shftycoo (Shfthappens)
Mage - Phrawstyswag (Phrasty)
Mage - Campfire (Riotqq)

We've run 3s with everyone, just for points. Warriors are garbage, mages and rogues and rets are strong. We need an Hpal for RBGs, or a ret. More mages are always amazing for RBG however, and will fit in any 3s comp.

Your call. I'd seriously recommend Pally and gearing Holy for RBG and ret for 3s. Most variety.

Don't go here unless you're playing with:

Which I assume you are. Not playing with these guys and pugging for groups on horde AP in BG9 will end...badly.

Anyhow, when they release the release date for MoP I'll be re-buying sub and using my looms from ally side to level an Enh sham here! While I'm not an ex-Glad, I'm not awful. See you guys then.

And to answer your question, the difference between tank and DPS queues aren't that large in LFR because there's 17 dps and 2 tanks (DPS 7-22 mins) (tank usually 8-18). Dungeons are like queues in f2p.

You should roll what you have fun playing as anyway. Don't " :/ " I hope you have a lot of fun with your lock! :)
Also your sig is a bit broken, some /url's missing ^^

Please tell me more about gearing.... i heard that some of you got full Ruthless in 2-3 days??!????!?!?!?

I am probably only gonna play PVP, bgs and arenas.... and only do raids/LFR for titles/mounts/etc.
