What BoA's should a Priest get?

I'm making a 19 priest, I was just wondering what BOA's are recommended. Is it only the shoulders, or should i get robe and Staff also?

Thanks guys.

Headmaster's Charge

Blessed Hammer of Grace

Tattered Dreadmist Mantle

Robe if you're Alliance

Inherited Insignia

Headmasters charge is a better 22 int wep than aurastone + furby

Get the dreadmist shoulders

forget the robe, its inferior to inferno and TBJ

get Blessed hammer of grace for your 30 sp wep

Pvp boa trinket would be ideal

Ghostly Mantle

Inferno Robe

Twisted Chanter's Staff

Insignia of the Horde

You'll do fine. And you won't be crutchin :)

Weps are the most important BoAs tbh, grind enough emblems for the staff and spend any stone keepers shards on blessed hammer of grace and you will do fine.

Devout AuraStone Hammer + Stable Eerie Lantern = the best combo for priest.

i thinks its better then any staff you can get for a 19 priest.

right now, i just think that if you can have a one hand + off hand then you ar ebetter with it.

the only person worth having staves are hunters, mages, warlocks and to some extent, druids. For the sole reason it has hit rating and its grand staff of jordan. though hunters should go with headmasters charge. besides that i think priest are just too good with devout + stable lantern. at least thats what i am using right now. priest do not have a probem with mana due to their buffs.

If you are going for an OH then lantern is pretty fail. Furby pouch has the most stats so it is the best, however if you want more SP there are a couple to choose from. When getting SP from your OH you have to sacrifice stam and the SP you get from weps and you have to value stamina as little as 1stam=0.8333sp. This is a very low valuation of stamina and thus if you are that interested in spell power and uninterested in stam then you might aswell go the full monty and use the tome for maximum SP.

Dignified staff is the best 22 int weapon since it has the highest intellect, stamina isnt as important as int here since a priest is a healer, and Blessed Hammer of Grace is the best SP wep when used with furby pouch especially. It is better than Aurastone because of its resilience, int is pretty useless on a SP wep.

I personally run with the pvp staff. Hit rating is nice for fears, and resilience is pretty nice now, after the buff. I also use the pvp shoulders, for the resilience, as well.

I use the pve staff with int when I need to start with a bunch of mana.

The pvp trinket is nice. The other 2 are kind of nice but there are better trinkets out there.

The chest isn't worth it in this bracket. Maybe if it had something else instead of spirit, or if inferno wasn't so awesome.

You can run with a one hander, but you can't smack things with it as hard. Not that that's terribly effective, but it's more effective with a staff.

i am the type that like to be balanced...

my goal was to have 1k life and about 100 SP the rest would go onto mana like mad.

i dropped furbolg pouch because i was already at 1k life without it, and thus used stable lantern instead too boost my spell power to a great 99.

of course me getting 1k life is with my own buffs though.

i dont have lucky fishing hat nor any arena grand masters.

its not that i want spell power more then stam or intellect, its just a question of being balanced. on a priest or any casters class to begin with, if you have 1k life its all good and does not need more then that. and since i already have most of that stam for myself its worth mentionning that i can lose a bit to get more intellect or spell power.

i'd show my armory, but most of my BoA are on my 72 priest instead of my 19. so it swouldn't show much.

EDIT:

ressillience got buffed ? i thought it was nerfed ?

i mean the last update about ressilience said it was needing 15% more in end game and that threw us back down by quite alot at low levels ! am i late on the whole res thing ?

Ah, I meant the, "decreases all damage done by enemy players, instead of just dots." I forgot about that 15% thing though.

Edit: It's been a few months since I played my twink priest. There was no xp shutoff at the time, for example. I was trying, at the time, to survive hunters. And I thought the crit rating and int on the pve staff weren't as good as the hit rating/resilience.

2nd Edit: I own both the boa maces. I'll look into it again when I can. Having all that hit rating was nice though.

ArthurianKnight, I'd like to see your 'balanced' set shown, as I can assure you that by using Furbolg pouch and reassembling your gear/enchants you'll get better results.

Nope resilience is still pretty crappy afaik, but the resilience on blessed is better than the int on aurastone.

without +15 resillience on robe, whats the maximum you can get, about 2-3% res. thats not quite great and it doesn't help much against those damage dealers.

to me since the nerf on res, i just think res has taken a wrong turn is worth a good 0.0001 stats compared to anything else.

QUARA: i just like how that sentence of yours is denying me the fact that i know what i'm doing when i choose or better as it said, took a guide "FROM HERE" to create my 19 priest twink.

armory isn't upto date since my BoAs aren't on him, so here goes with chardev what the final product was supposed to be. though i know what you're gonna say since you seem to think i'm a noob and will always be even if i been playing twinks for the last 4 years.

so here goes...

my chardev...

character planner . healatron . chardev seven

Right, well...in any case your build is strictly inferior because you are holding onto that Lantern.

-Drop Eerie Stable Lantern

-Drop Seal of Sylvanas

(Lose a total of +12 Stam, +5 Spell)

-Gain Furbolg Medicine Pouch

-Gain Advisor's Ring

(Gain a total of +13 Stam, +5 Spell and +3mp5)

I don't know about you, but I think 1 Stam and 3mp5 is a bit better than 3 Strength.

Just so you know... the furbolg pouch is the first thing i have gotten. i have it on me.

as for the riung, well i'd already have it if it wasn'T for the fact that my BG was killed by the whole migration.

as for the whole calculation...

stamina stays the same...

8+4 = 12

10+2 = 12 not 13

but i agree spell power and mp5 are cool.

if only i had that ring... you need to play to get it, which is not the case on my server. i did enable XP just play a few games that we won, but had to disable it when i was about to level. not enough win to get the ring.

Advisor's Ring has two stamina, I think you were remembering when the mp5 on it went from 2 to 3 and got confused.

I stand corrected; yes, indeed it's only two.

But it would still be over 1000 hp!
