For this Ab weekend I wanted to try something different, I wanted to see how good Darkwater Talwar - Item - World of Warcraft and Bloodcursed Felblade - Item - World of Warcraft were as a rogue...I was paying attention to my dps charts and Talwar wasn't registering any procs...Is this normal? I couldn't tell what so ever because of my poison/Hemo dot damage. Also would playing combat benefit more from these weapons more than being sub?

There's little hard evidence to suggest a concrete price rate. Wowhead commentary reports a range between 0.2-5.6%. All accounts are unanimous in that the proc rate is low.

on a side note yes i know the talwar has a really low proc rate

some items u could probably test better with would be the fang of serakis or that wc mace that way u can see the procs with the poison on the toon .

basically Shadowfang is the only top end viable item with a proc on it. Bite of Serrakis might be worth a try as it's not an awful weapon.

GL getting 2x Shadowfang though haha..

But yeah that particular sword (Darkwater Talwar) has a very low proc rate based on two things: wow-head comments and testing it myself. I could not get it proc for the life of me.

I suggest using Recount to test procs.

Its very simple to download and use and it will show you everything you want to know. Amount of times it procs, amount of dmg the proc does, etc.

There are weapon procs that worth it for F2P. They are called Crippling Poison and Deadly Poison. And be sure to get Wicked Dagger and Doomspike.

Nah, the blades suck, as does the Combat spec.
