Most of us playing twinks came at it from the concept of wanting to obtain as much power as possible, whether that's Naxx enchants, or the memorable or historic acquisition of both the Brooch of the Immortal King and Skyguard Silver Cross by a rogue named Dirtybishop obtained back during the original Burning Crusade. Our heart races and our mind is in rapture when we find a new way to help our little twinks bring even more devastation to battleground!

That said there is a point where it's "too much": When I had a level 10 twink priest with 75% player damage reduction in the level 10-14 bracket during either cata or mop and litterally would 1v10 the enemy team by running through their team, killing many, go to flag room, pick flag, go to gy, kill everyone, then cap to put them out of their misery, that was too much.

People don't know how to stay away from world buffs in classic, or obtainable items, the best that can be done is banning them from guilded play through community consensus.


That said, while that trinket might give as much as 20% passive damage, and 60% active damage, it's not exactly meta wrecking. I wouldn't even change classes for the increase in power, though I might shift some stats from AGI to Stam to survive a little better, and juke when they popped the trinket if possible. 2 players working together will definitely beat 1 twink with this powerful trinket.


I hope you don't let this item ruin your time making friends and playing this game! : )

I assume that was you guys were 10 man premade preist level 10 remake when it dinged from xp.. and we were in xp on.. and destroyed the bracket.. it was hilariously fun. Getting 10 man premades to fight 10 man premades.. and we would just focus fire with the whirly spell.. brain plz.. (penance*)

I am Ryo. That rogue would sell battle pets to be with you guys.. bitchy af.. I had more cata gear than yall and farmed my ass off.. to no avail as blizz neutered item level gains.. the pleb's chief arguement being that Im bitching about power level.. I really enjoyed you letting me run my 10 rogue with your 9 priests.. Letting me play my way and prove it was superior than priest which Im sloppy af with.

Just like back in the day on shakugan I enjoyed rolling with thefinalboss that many of you here are likely guilty of mob justice ticket spamming for a ban.. why? Speed pots and taurajo buffs.. I can haz taurajo buffs cause gitgud right? Oh wait.. Blizz took those out of the game cause one quality player tried hard and invested themselves..

and the rest said git gud cause they cant formulate their own oppinions.

I didnt forget the things you taught me. I used to spend countless hours in highschool studying the game all day long.. crawling forums.. mechanics.. delving into the darkest corners of youtube. Discussing with streamers who dont play 19s how they feel their class mechanics work.. not the ones you read on a forum.. the ones they dont tell you about gives them edge that, for example, Flashman has over me..

What flashman and I have is what makes the game exciting.. Hes someone I hoped to fight at my best someday... My best.. not just a pile of stats that take away any effort. Unlike almost all of you.. I dont run from a good fight like one with flash.. Like Barb does.. I love an excellent toe to toe.. or to find that its not stats but highly developed skill and intellect that is stomping me.

I recall Thefinalboss he was an amazing level 19 Paladin who was endless fun to chase, so good at the jumps! I used to roll with Demigod on Crushridge and went by the handle Everybody.

I usually solo queued and still do when I play, running with premades is too easy for my taste. Though sometimes they are fun for comraderie : )

I think you might have misunderstood, my level 10 did indeed have xp on, but it wasn't a premade. It was literally 1v10s, my character wouldn't die, while the sheet said 75% damage reduction... it certainly felt like 90%, and when lifebloom when out and haste was up over 150% the healing was just insane, I couldn't be killed unless oom, and even then with AGM it was all but impossible to pull it off anyway. Suffice it to say, I didn't play the character much due to lack of challenge. And yes penance was nuts : P

What I love most about WSG is that you can contribute to your team in so many different ways, each as important as the last. Leading the team, jumping, gear, skill, knowing where to be, and keeping the team morale positive! : )


Sadly I don't carry the torch, I just don't care as much about this game as I once did when I was younger. I've been unsubbed since a couple months into classic TBC, the launch was really fun, so many players and good games. For now I watch and cheer on from a distance : )

My apolgies. I did indeed misundertsand.. I been looking for those homies for quite a long time.. and I cant install retail to dig up my old toons to find their names and see how they are doing.

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THAT LEGEND!! Hes the reason I play 19 shaman as main. I learned so much crazy stuff from them before they were officially perma banned. Those were some epic days..

But no.. you know how bad it is solo.. imagine games warping to xp on premade 10 man preists.. the guild I rolled with back then literally we would reroll and go level in ghost lands belf territory in the scar where the zombies come attack the guards.. when you leave the start zone there before the flight path.

We pissed some people off.. ;3 I didnt feel great about it.. but it certainly was interesting meta wise. Good thing to learn from.

Twas a magical part of life I may now relinquish. Id rather be on the battlefield duct taping my mates guts back in to watch them still leave us for the better beyond. I don't see any point in continuing this charade. The game is over. The stadium has left. Tis time to find a horse and revere all that I wish.

At this time I do not expect to return. The challenge and resulting joy of 19s warsong has left us.. likely to never return.
