Warsong gulch

i just follow the huge wave of people in mid

In the mid.

- If you got a strong mid-team who know how to play or just play OP classes, you can stop people from getting to your base in the middle already.
- It is easy to see where the EFC is coming once he's picked the flag.
- You are closer to enemy base, which also means you're closer to your FC and can help him out if he is getting dps'd.
- Repicking the enemy flag is very hard from your flagroom.

Mid is better for pugs since it allows you to escape much easily and rezzers can get back to you much faster. However it gives more time to the other team to react if they loose the flag. For a premade or if you have a decent ammount of skilled and reliable players youd probably benefit from staying roof for quicker caps. Even tho you are pretty much trapped in your base and its harder to escape the ennemies it stays a territory that can be defended quite well with proper positioning... Its pretty hard to tell which one is the best since it really depends on the players on both teams, how they are playing and how many stacks your FC has

I'm not sure if you mean defending fcs or defending your flag at base.. If it's fcs then there is one spot that is BiS without a doubt that I RARELY see people utilize :/ (not tun roofs) if it's flag it doesn't matter because your team will be mid farming anyways probably so mine as well join them but atleast watch out for inc efcs

For horde, tunroof is BiS without a doubt tho! For alli, either first floor of tunnel, or the stump in front of gy. So if it's not any of these, wat is it?

as long as theres no spriests or BM/MM hunts or prot pals or anything that has very high burst in one shot then this would be good. If there are no ranged at all I'd say the tip of horde tun roof would probably be bis

Not sure what you mean by first floor or stump but I've found as a fc hunt or a hunt that protects fcs that the spot on ally roof where it goes from grass to cement or w/e it is is BiS. Make yourself a handy stealth macro and with track stealth there is no way anything can get past you without you seeing it. (yes I can even see 24 rogues before they get by) This spot also allows you to quickly go down 2nd floor or out to gy or out to tun even so quick escape roots. All imo

Totally agree. It's great for a runner fc too, you can do little run-arounds to ground floor then middle room down to ground floor and back up on roof, keep them in your rear view mirror, until efc is killed :)

The bad thing with tunn roof is that for some reason druids arent atking they are just waiting for repick...

I read nice reasonings for defending in middle.
In theory it should work, then why in pugs almost everytime half team that playes middle has a loss?
Because enemy fc is escorted by healers and reaches their base and who knows why those in middle don't think about following them inside. (score dmg epeen syndrome?)
When they wake up it's too late, their fc with 7 stacks got oneshotted by random stealthers / those that didn't cross middle, but cleverly reached base running from the sides (facepalm).
So in pugs by experience, the best defense is to move in a big group with a healer and nuke the efc on sight, no matter where and leave brain-required strategy for premades.
In other words an aggressive stance in the best defense.
