So I've been seeing Bananamilk + Zimt running with ze crit set (stendels, leather crit gear etc), and been wondering if it really is worth it to exchange ~40AP for 5-6% crit as warr?
I mean sure, it's cool critting a few times in a row now and then, but is it really that great when you're hitting lower each crit? And then there's the survivability factor too, you're dumping some stamina when swapping dual argas into stendels and armor when changing boots / gloves into crit leather, and some parry from strength too (parry rating from strength was also buffed in mop) Not a lot, but a little bit nevertheless, and the survivability is definitely one of the strengths of a warrior.
I also heard from a warrior that more crit means more rage, but from what I've tested, crit gives the same amount of rage as a regular hit. Does someone know another way that crit would give you more rage? Maybe I misunderstood what he meant by crit giving more rage.
What would be the ideal amount of ap / crit? Which stat would you value more?
Any thoughts, experiences, discussion and arguments why crit set > ap set or vice versa are well appreciated on this thread.
Here are a few armory links aswell:
Crit:

Zimt @ Draenor - Community - World of Warcraft
AP:
Nazhifajtm @ Draenor - Community - World of Warcraft (doesn't have skinning like the others, so add ~3% crit when comparing to others ^^)
Prosimet @ Draenor - Community - World of Warcraft
Turdel @ Bleeding Hollow - Community - World of Warcraft
