Im working on getting geared for 2v2 arena with my partner who is a restro druid. By geared i mean just everything you can buy from vendors in tanaris. I know this by far isnt the best but its just to get started. Gearing up in BG's as prot right now but feel like im hitting like a wet noodle. Cant take down anyone by myself really and my partner is going to have to rely on me taking two people out. Prob going to switch to Fury as with 4.1 its looks viable if well geared.



Was wondering if:



1) If fury is a good choice with a restro druid.



2) If someone could put a BiS gear together. Going to eventually get rid of brutal gear in place of Sunwell gear if i can get raid groups set up.



3) Do I really need to stack Strength in all slots? Am i not getting enough strength from gear alone that im going to hit like a wet noodle? Was thinking my damage would be fine and to stack Stam as warriors seem to go down pretty quick.



Thanks for any help at all. I also plan on getting Jewelcrafting up for the +51 stam gems and Engineering up for tazzer tinker and big daddys and what not.

Play arms Charge/Throwdown Don't DR anymore.

You will be playing like a 2minute Mage in BC

Meaning every 2-3minutes you can press an I win button and pray for a kill.

Arms > Fury Slam spam kills healers

If your resto Druid knows how to root/bash/skullbash then the comp has quite a bit of potential

Warriors arn't ment to lol global kids they're ment to last out cds of the enemy and slowly work them down eventually getting the kill.

You dont have to gem full strength

I would gem str/crit till 30%(?) i think it is when overpower is a garunteed crit.

Then gem Strength and resil id aim for roughly 450-500resil.

Depends if you play agressive or not.

Dont gem stamina .

with resil's current scaling state resil>stamina
 
My advice? Reroll before its to late and you find out you wasted all your money.. Unlike 85 PvP, 70 warriors are jokes and you wont make it past 1800, no mater your skill level.



Tho if you do go for it best of luck and I look forward to facing you!

well they are pretty weak comparatively....but if you're an exceptional player with an exceptional partner you can still go pretty far

^ This the class is weak at 70 I strongly reccomend you dont play warrior at 70 especially if its your first 70



in 2s (@70) warriors are from another planet when it comes to how limited they are compared to every other class except mabey locks

They do just because 1 can pull a rabbit out of his ass doesnt make the class right the exception should never be the rule

I suppose but for me its not so much a challenge as its just not a whole lot of fun to play a warrior right now and not just at 70 they are rly boring to play at all lvls right now even tho they are very good at 85
 
Well, im probably going to just reroll before I get too involved in this. I mainly twink 19s with my priest and hunter but really want to get involved with 70s as Arenas are always fun. What class would you guys recommend would be a good fit for 2v2 with a restro druid. He's telling me to level up my druid and go feral and I heard they are pretty bursty. Idk tho, only class i dont want to be is a DK or Mage as I already have them 85s.
 
feral is bursty, spriests are good, rogues are good, pallies are good, you can't go wrong wiht any class
