Warrior Fury or Arms

Competitive? More like the best spec for warriors. Warbringer is WAY more imba than Juggernaut. Juggernaut allows charge in combat. Warbringer does that, adds on snare removal and allows charge/intercept from any stance.

as someone who has played both extensively i disagree on prot being the best.

and as for warbringer, meh....i wouldnt say its that more imbalanced than juggernaut, but its a moot points b/c 49s cant get it.

LOL well I feel real stupid everybody. I haven't played my warrior for quite some time and couldn't even find the server he was on.

But after searching harder I found him and he is only 39, not 49.

Sorry for the confusion I'll move to the other forum

I'd say it's way more imba later on than juggernaut is, especially with the snare removal and coming out of it you can instantly hit someone with conc blow which is massive damage and a 5 sec stun. With the reduction of 100% crit on juggernaut I'd say the snare removal and usage in defensive stance puts warbringer ahead of it.

eh, idc that badly if snares are removed, either way you get in the enemies face where you can hamstring (lol not if ur prot) or stop them by other means. i still have ~50% chance to crit on MS after a charge, even more depending if i have buffs, whereas conc blow has much much less chance to crit. sure the stun is awesome, but damage wise i'll prolly do more with MS unless the prot war gets lucky with RNG. oh not to mention killing a healer as prot sucks, all about RNG luck w/o a MS effect. saying you can use charge/intercept in defensive stance isnt that great. i mean arms warriors prefer to stay in battle, and we use charge in battle. so both specs get to stay in the stance they choose. and switching to zerker to intercept isnt that hard the few times i actually have to do it.

i'd say slight edge to warbringer for allowing charge/intercept in defensive stance. movement impairing effect removal is also a plus, but for a juggernaut warrior i'll just wait the effect out then go finish them off with 1 hit hah.

all in all, doesn't matter in the slightest for 49!

Hehe, I have an 80 prot warrior, and charging in defensive stance is a godsend in instances (and carrying the flag in pvp).

Can you use intervene in pvp to move up the field too, or does it send you back to your original position?

you'll prolly lose ground when u intervene unless ur ally is ahead of you. u go to the person who is being attacked and take the damage for them. i havent used intervene in forever, but i think it doesnt send you back, you'll stay to where u intervene to.

I'll target a teammate and use intervene if they're ahead of me. It's nice intervening to the flag cap spot when a teammate is standing there waiting for you.

Pretty sick combo, surprised they haven't changed it in some way. Gotta love when more pve oriented abilities work out in pvp.

It's fun just carrying flags as an 80 prot...Going up your tunnel you can... Charge up towards an enemy waiting for you, intercept to another going for your flag, concussive blow him and spell reflect in case there's a spell CC coming at you... intervene up to the flag spot!

Lol sounds fun, I never saw too many warriors doing it in BC, course warbringer didn't exist. I loved running flags on my prot pally though.
