Warrior - 20

roman3d

Veteran
I made a Warrior (Dwarf). I really enjoy playing on it. I started gearing. On Fury I focused on Versatility and Haste. On Arms on Versatility and Critical. Is this good? If not, what should be the stats priority, for both specs?
Also, what weapons should I used? I saw alot The Pacifier, but I don't know how to obtain it. (I mention that I don't have the subcription. Without it, can I even obtain The Pacifier?)
And if you can give me another good weapons for use. I know the Emil's Brand (15STR + 4STA). What any other weapons are good?

Remember that I don't have the subscription.
P.S. And maybe a recent guide (at least 7.0.3) for a twink Warrior, level 20.
Thanks!

You can get The Pacifier as F2P. Just takes time.

Ideally, you're gonna want any epic quest reward and/or weapons from BG crates of your preferred suffix.

Pacifier will work but I'm not a huge fan of the low stam and lack of secondaries. Especially if you're solo queing. But if you strike out on quest rewards, it's good filler till you get some BG crate options to play with. Or if you're doing some pve stuff.

I personally have tried a Vera + haste setup for fury, but have found running crit + haste is a lot more rewarding.
That is the way to go in the first place

You already know this but

higher hits = crit
Faster hits = haste

Both contribute to higher rate of generating rage

Would it be that bad?

Fireflash would be the best stats to stack for all out dps. With a pocket healer, the 20% versatility (10% damage reduction) you'd have otherwise probably wouldn't have too much impact?

Maybe it would be a disaster... Maybe it would rock

20% increased damage from vers absolutely rules. The damage reduction is almost essential for a melee class in a ranged meta.

Haste, especially on a fury warrior, has pretty significant diminishing returns. You don't need much to put you in a place to keep enrage up almost endlessly.

Fireflash would no doubt improve an arms warriors rage generation (which is an incredible weak point) but the whole point of arms is globaling people with sudden death crits and keeping MS up on kill targets.

Haste doesn't help with either of those. But verse does.

Fireflash might work for some classes and specs but not for warriors.

Doesn't haste increase the proc chance for sudden death and reduce the cd on mortal strike?

I don't think it would outweigh the benefits of versatility from a competitive pov but wondering if anyone's tried it to compare & see if there are situations where it could pull ahead

Not to a point that it matters. Sudden Death procs constantly (except when you desperately need a proc on an FC to secure a cap lolfuckmylife) and roots/slows are way more to blame for mortal strike down time than the CD.

Not to mention, replacing vers with haste makes, and I cannot stress this enough, a melee class squishier in a ranged heavy meta.

All the CD reduction and rage generation in the world ain't gonna do you a damn bit of good if you can't live long enough to get to your target.
