Warlords of Draenor Changes for F2P

Rend needs to be put back for all specs T-T i miss killing hunts with dat high bleed effect, its like a rogues incurable poison

Oh, my god.

Just found a blue post regarding future warrior changes..

Warrior Changes - SCROLL DOWN

Some notable changes listed in the post:
  • Rage generation increased by 20% for Arms.
  • Rend returns for Arms. Costs 10 Rage, deals damage over 18sec, with a burst of bleed damage at the end. Total damage is similar to a Mortal Strike.
  • Thunder Clap is usable in any stance. AoE damage and snares, 6sec cooldown. 30 Rage cost for Arms, free for Protection.
Keep in mind though, these changes will most likely be under heavy iteration.

of all the class spec combos i wish i could play competitively

furry warrior - seems it will happpen
demo lock - guna be so fun
fire mage- still no luck really
enh shaman - still a chance

getting about half of what i want from bliz in my book is a win any day .
(and lets not forget skirms :p)

I don't get it why ppl still saying enh shaman isn't viable at this moment. Enh shaman is a support class. Don't expect to solo a hunter or any range dps.

There's no such thing as a support spec in WoW. Enh is a damage spec with garbage damage. Ele puts out tons more damage with the same support utilities...

Enh Shaman is a support class. If ppl still think the Enh Shaman is a full damage spec, well it's because they don't know to play it in efficient way.

You think Ele is better than Enh? How do you enjoy silence and interrupt? Enh don't care about those debuffs.

Support classes do not exist in this game. Enh is considered a "support" class because its damage sucks. That's it. I for one don't see the point to having an enh shaman on my team, anything they can do an ele can do better.

ele does 1000000times more dmg than enhancer so even if you are silenced/interrupted for a few moments youll still do tons more of damage, heal more and you have way more armor

Do you know the definition of a bad day for an elem shaman? It's when I come next to him (from side or behind) and silence/interrupt his lightning bolt and kill him. :) It happens more than you think. :)

and this changes the fact ele shamans are better in 1v1 situations, have more damage, more healing and higher survivability (which makes them the better support class)?

In principle I'd like to think of Enhance as being viable. But I really struggle to see it being stronger (in essentially any way) than Elemental.

Elemental Shamans picking up move-while-casting LB and Fulmination is pretty much the boulder that broke the camel's back in the comparison.

That isn't to say that Enhance can't put out pressure and valuable "support", but it's probably not going to be numerically superior to Elemental.

Stronger burst healing is pretty much all they have to work off of :/

True, Elem Shaman is better in 1vs1. Enh Shaman is better in ppl vs ppl. Elem Shaman deals damage on single target in long range, Enh Shaman deals damage on multiple targets in melee range. Healing is quite same for both (I have WSG chart screenshots to show it). Survivability is quite even. But if you do BGs for 1vs1, well you don't understand what BGs stand for.

Also, I don't like to be dependant of mana for damage. Silence and interrupt make spellcasters useless for few secs.

There must be something wrong with my game. It won't let me queue as support.

Even enh's burst heals are a sorry choice compared to ele. What do you get? Like three surges before you're oom? Oh but water shield, amirite? lol

However, we are talking WoD here and elementals no longer have lightning bolt on the move. And enhance has gotten some much needed improvements. Only time will tell how many rerollers will flock to enhance to try them out when the changes arrive.
/cheers

From my beta testing elemental is currently the best dps in the bracket, and enh is one of the worst.

Fury wars can't use 2handers atm on beta, I think this is a bug. 1h fury is garbage, and locks are OKAY
