Warlock gear?

Hey, all. I'm planning on making a warlock twink (first 80 for me) and was wondering if anyone could help me with what gear to shoot for. Right now, what interests me most isn't BiS gear. It's mastery, the high levels of which is what enticed me into making an 80. Specifically, Dark Apotheosis ("tanking" form) and how it gains damage reduction from mastery. So I guess a mastery-focused set that won't gimp me too much. And if possible, maybe traditional BiS gear sets for each spec (or just Demonology). Thank you very much in advance!

Level 77 right now, preferably Cata BiS. Thanks! So far, what I've been lookging at, was this armory I happened upon: Santhanas @ Kargath - Game Guide - World of Warcraft I didn't look too much into others, though, either.

Also, can you queue for Blackrock Caverns or Throne of the Tides at 77-79? Or do I need to get someone to run me/wait until 80? I'd level my profs in queue, which would best be....?

You can first queue at 80, but you're able to enter at 78. so you can get boosted.

alot of 80 twinks are using 4 piece heroic tier from icc25, should be a profile in the guide section at the top of the forums for bis pve and pvp. they may be outdated now since patch 5.0.4. getting bis using cata gear really isnt too hard but a true bis will prob have some icc25 heroic drops. think you can que for BRC and tides at 78. know for my hunter i had to complete almost all of the under water zone to get the quest to go into tides for a quest reward.

tho as far as professions go with MOP being 2 weeks away i wouldnt lvl any yet. sure alch trinket is nice but if it turns out 80s can get to 600 in skill professions that offer an item enchant will prob come out on top. if you can lvl your professions without spending any gold sure it wont waste anything other then your time.

also myself i have a bis cata set (no wotlk items), a bis wotlk (icc25 gear) and a herald of the titans set. gives me a few more raids to look forward to running each week even if atm im going with only 85s.

if you cant que till 80 wouldnt hurt to have a friend run you thru or you can wait till you are 80 but then there is the chance you will loose the roll on items to people who are just lvling.

He's after a set for warlock tanking (ie stacking mastery at the expense of everything)

I haven't made one, and I can't reliably make one until chardev gets updated for MoP, as stats and everything are just BROKEN right now.

But, that warlock which was linked had nearly what I would use, except a couple pieces (engineering/alchemy would be BiS, using the dragonling + stam trinket), and probably darrowmere shoes of X (with mastery), as well as hyjal quest shoulders.

I'm privately going through all my old math and sets to try and update them, but don't expect to log on one day and suddenly find it done. It takes time, especially since new formulae have to be developed/implemented (I have to re-write my spreadsheets for one)

That would probably serve your purpose, just reforge til you have 7.5% hit and 7.5% expertise (that'll cap spell hit), just don't drop any mastery, and make sure to go for haste past that.
