Warlock best-in-slots for WSG

I'm having a hard time choosing the balance between spellpower and stats, and since Drayner's 19 lock guide is somewhat outdated I'm asking you folks :)

I think we can agree that most of the gear is fairly obvious. Fishing hat, agm, spidersilk boots and all that. For anyone who does not know what I'm talking about, check Drayner's guide. It's not that far off.

As I see it, there are FIVE tricky slots. Belt, leggings, ring, weapons, (and armor for alliance). I understand that a lot of it comes down to personal preferance - the question is simply:

What do you prefer?

[ITEM]Keller's Girdle[/ITEM] vs. Shimmering Sash of Healing (7 spellpower)

[ITEM]Darkweave Breeches[/ITEM] vs. Buccaneer's Pants of Healing (9 spellpower)

[ITEM]Seal of Wrynn[/ITEM]/[ITEM]Seal of Sylvanas[/ITEM] vs. [ITEM]Bronze Band of Force[/ITEM] (+6 spellpower)

([ITEM]Lorekeeper's Ring[/ITEM] should obviously fill the other ring slot)

[ITEM]Twisted Chanter's Staff[/ITEM] vs. [ITEM]Furbolg Pouch[/ITEM]+4/5 stamina mainhand vs. [ITEM]Staff of the Blessed Seer[/ITEM]

[ITEM]Bloody Apron[/ITEM] vs. [ITEM]Tree Bark Jacket[/ITEM] vs. [ITEM]Robe of the Moccasin[/ITEM]

(the 'lock enchants'-thread scratched the surface of this, however I felt it deserves a separate thread)

i prefer:

kellers girdle

darkweave breeches

seal of sylvanas

(i use witching stave for now) but i would use staff of the blessed seer

and robe of the moccasin

i like to always stay within 95-100 sp in any of my sets.

Hes at 89 spellpower and is sitting at 1.2k health and 1.6k mana, he's got a chunk of mana and it does help i know you could sit at higher health and lowermana and lifetap when you need to, but that takes time and can leave you to be oneshotted. He is the best lock i have seen on Reckoning.

For my HP set, Keller's, Darkweaves, Brozeband of force and Lorekeeper's, Staff of the Blessed Seer, Robe of the Moccasin.

For my SP set (which I am in 90% of the time in WSG), Healing pants, belt, Brozeband of force and Lorekeeper's, Staff of the Blessed Seer, Robe of the Moccasin.

Arena set I use a mix of the gear. I tend to lower my SP to around 115 on my alliance lock and 130-135 on my horde lock to compensate for the lack of HP I can't get from Rum in the arena.

I don't care about mana personally. I am a LT/Bandage guy. If you are pugging it, you'll need to master that. If you are running with guild partials, tap away an let the healers keep you up. If you are dishing out the DPS, the healers won't mind. Sometimes I even get reminded by my healers to tap since I am used to pugging and not getting healbotted.

Like I said before though, I am an SP junkie and I am going to go into WSG with the most SP I can get away with. My alliance usually rolls with 140sp and my horde at 167sp. With rum I am around 1200hp and 1000mana.

Horde (logged out in what I use in arena):

Code:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Draka&n=Drayn%C3%ABr

Put in code to keep from autolinking since names with special characters break that script

Alliance (soon to be horde):

[char="Wildhammer"]Draynerr[/char]

Glad I'm not the only one that forgets to tap away with a healer. They look at my mana bar as part of my health bar. They'll toss a HoT on me at full health with the expectation that I tap a few times and let the HoT fill me back up. I've been yelled at for not tapping more than once...per match.

As for my choices (usually pugging WSG):

Keller's Girdle

Darkweave Breeches

Seal of Sylvannas and Advisor's Ring

Staff of the Blessed Seer

Inferno Robe

If I rolled Ally, I would go with Wrynn and Moccasin.

A little off topic, but the idea just hit me that if you make a horde warlock instead of an alliance one, you should be able to faction change over to have the inferno robe and other horde-only items on alliance! Maybe even with the xp lock you could switch to horde, do the quest chain and then switch back later to alliance.

Bingo. :)

This is what I plan to do with my ally lock. Get BoA and Inferno.

So you close your eyes when you play with Eldiablato (not sure on spelling), Daryu and Dot then?

I dont, but i find feardotcom the best out of them all, Daryu i havent seen play much in WSG but i know feardotcom is better from what i've seen.

EDIT: Didnt mean to put "By far the best lock" - edited post.

I wonder if you will be able to have [ITEM]Lorekeeper's Ring[/ITEM] and [ITEM]Advisor's Ring[/ITEM] on the same toon with faction swaps. Blizzard has let alot worse things slide through testing into live. And they may not even see this as an issue worth spending the tie to code it.
