Good to know. I have to wonder why these aren't in BiS lists though if that's the case. 180 haste proc seems pretty legit.

Honestly if you want to use warglaives I'm not gonna try to talk you out of it. I can only provide my own rationale and hope people don't get mad at me for it

Well we're trading 5 sockets for a proc, right? So that's 25 agility and 25 crit vs a 180 haste proc for 10 seconds on a ~1 minute timer.

So that's equivalent to 180 * 10 / 60, or about 30 haste.

So in a long sustained fight, yes the 25 agility and 25 crit is a better option. But for quick situational burst warglaives would be better. In battlegrounds you also have to consider that you will often have rest time between procs making it even more viable.

And besides, warglaives just look really cool and have that legendary swag.

But procs do not just procnon burst, your burst window could miss the proc. I for one just love haste for combat rogue in all forms

The one class where you could make a solid argument that these would be BiS can't actually use them - Enh Shaman. Haste procs are OP for them.
