For the most part, ilvl does very little in terms of stat gain. Thats why I don't really care. The difference between my rogue and fully BiS is probably nothing, but might be 1 stam or armor or something.

The only item that really was better was the bow. Though I'm not how much better it is than the BG box ilvl 27 bow.

I see what you're saying, but the die-hard, OCD, twink-maniac in me will only settle for perfection. It could be 1 more armor increase and I would still want it. Have you ever hit 10hp before and lived and realized, "wow, that 1 stam. made a difference"?

Eh. You'll still be behind those who have Inferno Robe and other old GFd items. Are you super upset that you don't have those? Just treat these the same way. Grandfathered now.
 
I don't really care too much with the current PvP system. It will be a nightmare if they reverse the PvP changes and make stats actually count in PvP again, since then the titanforged twinks will have a massive advantage.

You mean with all the mastery the invasion items had? I doubt they would be a problem if things got reversed.

The problem with the bow is that you can't put http://www.wowhead.com/item=70139/flintlockes-woodchucker on it or one of the other top scopes, so for wPvP or dungeons etc I'd say the loom bow which can proc +100 Ag or similar is better than the TF bow with only like +1 damage scope on it. Sure it can push out more general DPS but soon as the +100 Ag procs it far outweighs the benefits imo of the TF bow.
Sure for instanced PvP it's better to get the higher ilvl TF bow, but you don't get the full benefit of it in wPvP without the better scopes. Sort of sad, because Warriors and other classes can put any chant they want on the TF weapons but Hunters have to miss out using the better bows outside of PvP because you can't chant it decently.

True, it isn't better for wPvP with the enchant. But it's the only increased weapon damage weapon that is better than other easily obtainable things. Most of the ilvl gear might only get you 1 primary stat, which is like 3-5 damage on an ability. The TF bow increases damage by probably 20 in instanced PVP.
