Warband Bank access revoked for F2Ps & Vets

Thats my feelings also.

If it hadn't worked from the start I probably wouldn't care, but we had this for five months. People got used to it and put important stuff in there. Now when Microsoft is desperate for the xbox division to make money they pull something like this to try and squeeze $!5 out of a few more people. Just more of the same disrespectful treatment towards players like always.

(I hope its a bug and they fix it and I look like an idiot with this post, but I'm not getting my hopes up.)
 
Bug report submitted. Hopefully it's just an oversight or accidental bug and not something done on purpose with no warning. They have to realize that a lot of people with F2P accounts also have paid accounts. If intentional this wasn't a good move.

Edit: also getting a message saying "that unit is not a banker" if trying to withdraw gold from warband bank.

I was about to say that. People are taking it waaaay too personally. 100 or even 1000 subs from the whole active f2p community is not worth the limited development time they have. Blizzard earned 25+ MILLION dollars from the new Brutosaur mount, that's the amount we are talking about here. If anything, my guess is that this was the intended warbank behaviour and was just left unfixed for a while before finally someone took the time.

But thinking that there is even a conversation somewhere happening about if a developer needs to spend the time to balance/nerf/buff the miniature low-level community is unrealistic. Most of the things changing in the bracket are a direct result of someone exploiting a bug on a f2p/low lvl account that somehow makes enough waves for the late-game community to be bothered. Other than that, no one at Blizzard can afford to care about us. Which is actually more of a good thing than a bad one.

P.P. A post by someone who expected this and moved everything important (including 10x every possible enchant/gem) to their personal bank like 1 week into the Warbank availability.

no, no, no, should submit a impolite ticket with f... bombs, so that they realize the gravity of the problem and understand who are the bosses here - the paying players.

Thanks, just tried on all my legacy and trial accounts.

Could see but not access any Warbank gear.

What a joke - they still havnt bothered to fix the Cata dungeons and level limitations, yet can do this.

So cancelled my subscriptions.
I need to gggo try Elden Ring DLC, try FFXIV, I hear Moria is a bit of fun as well.

The point was to explain that if you know what to expect, you won't be surprised that much. Can someone use this to game the system without paying? - Yes! Ok, so at some point, it will be gamed enough to force a change. The same pattern emerges with F2P accounts for the last 12(13?) years. Thinking realistically about the situation will help prevent further problems.
 
This change was entirely predictable. Like I said before "Blizzard giveth, and blizzard taketh away". To be honest having warband bank accessible to F2P was just too friendly for botters and gold farmers -- I'm sure they ruined it for us.

tbh imo the 11 twinks possibly killed the warbank, getting all their required stuffs thru warbank or possibly mail. they drew too much attention lol
but then again, they wouldve probably nerfed the 11s, unless this is a band-aid to figure out HOW to fix that. idc really, enjoyed the 11s, but now i got all my enchants in the warbank and all my gold XD
 
If this was intentional, that really sucks. damn it Blizzard, not cool.

I will say this, I've been playing a lot of Korrak's Revenge matches (over a hundred since the 20th anniversary event). The amount of people actually talking during the match is incredibly small. I've pointed it out several times and out of 40 people on a team I might have gotten no more than 5 people respond. Sometimes it feels like most of the people of the team are bots... I know people have been saying it for 20 years that the game is dead or dying. But playing BGs and trying to get the people to communicate and failing to do so does make one wonder if you are playing with real people or bots. Plus, everyone knows how empty the game feels for something that has millions of subscribers...
 
They've revoked the absolute BEST thing that had happened for our community....

I knew it was only a matter of time before this happened, but it doesn't lessen the sense of disgust.

Wonder what else they've fucked up that was wonderful & working for us?
