Wanting to get into 70s

Hi guys I haven't ever played 70s so I need all the help I can get I want to play a dk so heres my armory Tannersdk @ Spinebreaker - Game - World of Warcraft

I haven't gemmed my gear yet I don't wana dump gold into the wrong gems so yeah any tips for arenas specifically and gearing also a armory link would be great and what proffs other than engineering should I take I was thinking leatherworking or jc

DK's are pretty neat when they're accompanied by a healer and despite their nerf (Frost) in 4.2 they can still put out a load of damage aswell as CC.

You can go double dps, but it will be quite rough when you're not too comfortable with the playstyle, and again, it will depend on your partner's ability to peel and vice versa.



You should be gemming mainly strength along with resilience and pop in some PvE items aswell - ie. Felfury Legplates from Brutallus, Borderland Grips and so on, without losing too much resilience.



There are two ways of frost - twohander and dual wield. This is completely up to you as either one work differently.



Kakusei @ Defias Brotherhood - Game - World of Warcraft is a good example of twohanding. This one has a high amount of resilience.



Taylørswift @ Frostwhisper - Game - World of Warcraft is another example, but with dual wield. Since DK's aren't able to use fists, the brutal weapons should be superior to anything else as far as I know (unless you level to 71 and go with 2x Archeology weapons)



Note: 35 spell penetration on cloak is important unless you gem for it otherwise (which would be a waste)

Go DW frost or blood 2hand.

Go STR only gems + whatever is needed for meta.

Arena with a frost mage or a shaman healer.

have fun.



+ Put Rune of Razorice on off hand. not cinderglace.

Don't duel weild frost, its garbage. 2H has always had better stable damage control and the RP gain is retarded.



Though honestly a amazing unholy DK (assuming you know what your doing) has the best damage out put and control atm.



You seem new though based off your questions. If this is the Case roll blood like every other DK and do broken damage with Broken heals ;)
