Wanted to try out the bracket but is it worth it?

Hey guys!

I've been wanting to make a 24 twink for a while now but never got into it since I had stuff to do IRL and been playing end-game a lot. but now things are cooling down in the game and my guild and I are basicly done with raiding and I reached my arena goals I would finally like to try it, but then I read the WoD alpha notes...

So, I have a few questions;

How will this bracket play out in WoD? If I read it correctly they are making the bracket 20-29 again, so people will be moving on to 29 right?

What is needed the most in the bracket? (Healers, DPS etc..) I want to be useful for my team but also have a fun time doing so, I always leaned towards casters and I play those the best aswell

What is considered the best class of each roll (Tank, healer, DPS)

I currently have a level 27 mage with the Private title sitting around doing nothing so I was maybe going to twink it, thought it'd be pretty cool

regards,

Yosushi :)

tbh, I don't really mind hunters. For a very long time I've raged on the extremely easy gameplay from that class but I finally gave in and just let it happen.

Holy shit haha, won't be having a great time on a caster then x) Might just roll a mage though as im super comfortable on that class but still wondering how the bracket will be in WoD as the new xpac is not that far away anymore!

Seriously we're in mop not wod play what you feel like playin

Hard to say right now exactly what will happen to any lowbie come WoD. I rarely even play a 24. The scaling is just too good at level 20 for the class I play. It may be the same in WoD. Nine levels is an aweful lot of scaling. But you give up a lot of nice abilities and gear.

Yeah but our gear scales to 29 aswell.

^^

Remove three hunters, add three rogues and maybe a druid or 2 and that is a perfect SS of the bracket.

I'm about to start leveling through this bracket on my Horde Warlock. I have full heirlooms and i'm kinda twinking with dungeons pieces and enchants. Will I have a hard time?

I wouldnt suggest a lock for your first character, locks are easy to shit on even for a f2p.

not my first character. im just levleing through bgs for fun. I got full boa + enchants. Im locking my xp and running dungeons to get best gear.

I was more referring to this bracket not the class itself. Atleast you rolled horde.

i dont know much about f2p twinking but wont i be up against people without looms? I guess they could link a f2p with their main account but whats the point of playing f2p if you have an active account?

F2Ps can't get guild heirlooms. But they are able to get all the other heirlooms.

Not true, lock just require you to think. Whereas as rogue, hunter or spriest ,your class will cover your mistakes, as lock a mistake gets you dead.
Best choice for a horde lock is goblin for the ability to "blink" away from rogues or big burst

I was under the impression I would be fighting against F2P twinks. I didn't know that F2P players were put into the xp locked bgs.
