Hey-



So i'm working on my 19 shaman twink. My original plan was get BoAs(DONE), and get AGM, then do all my gathering stuff. After the grandfather, should i just keep going or wait and see what they do?
 
Just make your twink and don't let him get a single point of xp after dinging 19. That way, if we end up getting another chance to levels gathering profs, you're not screwed.



Although all new twinks are kind of screwed anyway for now. Good news is that you usually don't see someone with 450/450, but, if you do, you can always just ignore him and go farm honor.
 
so just keep moving on? figured so. Can't believe they grandfathered.
 
if you're horde, you can get Deadskull shield if you want. it requires about 80% of level 19's exp and is started at level 19.



recommend you get everything else first, though, since it takes far less exp and deadskull shield isn't that huge an upgrade to other shields.
 
explore everywhere you need to at a low level, i think you can discover all of WoW within 15 levels. this way if they change it back you won't have to worry.



then get your quest gear and instance gear up, make sure you don't level to 19 in the process.



if you're horde you can also get deadskull shield, starts at lvl 19 and brings you to about 4 bars of leveling if done perfectly.
 
lol tooooooooo much work! tbh if they revert AGAIN i'll be pissed but annoyed at the missed opportunity.

well if you're horde i suggest not getting deadskull shield then. like an above poster said, just go into 19 with as little EXP gained as possible. this way if they change it you can probably get 450 professions.
 
Well, if you discover all the areas before 19, getting 450/450 won't be threat (just a shitload of work).



Deadskull Shield is quite worth it for a shaman. Also, do me a favor and get the inferno robe. BC chants in the 19 brqacket are so cool >: D
 
haha I can't fund cross-faction and i have no horde references.
 
if you want to make a horde twink, as he levels, put up some random white item for "X" amount of gold on the neutral AH, and then have your alliance main buy it
 
On my rogue i have the 450 skinning and i dont see much of a difference versus when prof didnt have the buff. Ive fought some of the 450/450 people and do notice that both 450s outweigh me alot. So yes i would agree to stay at a lower level and see if they take of the prof req. because herbalism is rediculous
