All credit to Rhaelia for organising this event!

Hey so I was too slow to sign up for this World PvP, but I figured it would be no harm if I stayed in the shadows and out of combat "spectating" like a journalist.

I Hope this video shows what it was like during "The Battle for Southshore"

Battle for Southshore

I have so much footage recorded of this World PvP that just one video isn't enough, so there might be more to come!....

That was fun to watch :D :D

Seeing this sort of reminds me of some Vanilla world pvp raid videos.

I love it.

Btw, wich server was this on? i'd gladly have 100+ ms to participate in such events! :)
Aerie Peak US. But with cross realm invites people came from all US realms.

And 100ms is better than what I have on any realm lol.
Furthermore, with cross-realms-with-raid-group, it's possible to organize events like this on any server and server type, from PvE (Aerie Peak, etc.), to PvP (Vashj, etc.), to RP (Moon Guard, etc.), RP-PvP, and more, after enough players on both sides are in their respective raid groups to be cross-realmed.

In fact, for future events, where the groups will be cross-realmed, organizers can keep which server the event is taking place confidential, to avoid any high level p2ps ruining such events (one high level Horde DK showed up during this event, though was put down by some p2p guards). Furthermore as a possibility, if such a p2p appears and p2p guards kill him, the groups can quickly reorganize and cross-realm to another server for more rounds of killing if desired. As for recorders, a person recording such events will need to be in the raid groups [unflagged, unless direct participants] to join them when cross-realmed.

You took the words right out of my mouth! There was some talk at one point in the event about CR'ing us to another server to eliminate the interference from non-raid-people, but it didn't happen. After the event, I too thought that in future events we could group everyone up, and as the last step before starting, CR to another random and unpublished realm so no high level griefers who read the forums could interfere.

It was fun sucks the p2p dk and lvl 90 guards were interferring
