Vice Grips of the Bear

I decided to take a break of farming for Meshlok and get my quest gear done. Doing so required me to revisit ZF where I figured I'd farm for Vice Grips of the Bear. I ran about 40 times so far and the only Bears I've seen are all 11/11. Are 11/12s or 12/11s really that hard to find or is it just a stroke of bad luck?
 
Meh - it's not a big upgrade, I agree. But it's the same thing as buying a 7/8 or 8/7 Aquamarine Signet instead of 7/7 and willing to pay 100g for it, heh.



Thanks for the input, though. I'll keep farming for one.
 
yeh true 1 mroe stats helps but still if u want to be done whit your twinks gear fast for über pewpew in bgs i rather use 11/11
 
Since it's plate I'd have to agree, just read that its a palli in another thread. OP lame! For the record, get the Plated Fists of Hakoo, paladins <3 crit!!!

I have those as well. My main spec isn't going to be ret, though, so there goes your "OP lame!" :)



I'll probably be prot or holy for the majority of my time. You know how I love to run flag and play support!
 
well if ur prot or holy there's better gloves than vice grips anyways

i would get hakoo for ret and prot (thats what my pally uses) with +15 agility (agility > strength for prot, and the crit is nice for ret too) and then ogreseer/atal'ai gloves/gloves of the dune/etc for holy
