Vashj - A horde call to arms.

Dear F2P community,

Vashj is a quickly growing community for the f2p crowd. Horde players are significantly outnumbered by Alliance. Roughly 3-5 people show up for AGM trinkets and I am the only horde player who consistently arrives to get it. It appears the Alliance have formed a rotation system to farm their trinkets so the Horde have no opportunity. This post is meant as a call to arms for anyone interested in starting on a rapidly growing f2p server, Vashj. If you happen to come to this server, horde is in need of an expanding player base, but we are gearing up and fast.

Lacking classes:
  • Priests
  • Pally
  • Huntards/Rogues

Further, if any P2P players would like to help your fellow Horde players out, please download the f2p-addon and speak with us, or show up for the AGM drops at Gurubashi.

I'm haven't been to Vashj, but I'm thinking the faction imba at the arena might have something to do with Vashj beening the "new players" server. Maybe those new players will just level out and go away. If not, I wish you luck.

Honestly, I don't know why any f2p community that plans on grouping for bgs would go ally. It's not like they need more help, and they queues are silly long.

You would be surprised how active that arena is with alliance at 3am.
I don't know about 6am because I'm fast asleep and 9am I'm at work lol.

I can join you with one of my better geared toons but I remember the last few times I went there, they even had lvl 85s making sure that only ac would get the chest.

This has been my experience also.

There has been an 85 named Koth on a number of occasions who frequently oversees a FFA, making sure no >20 toons arrive to roll the 20's and snag the trinket. This of course resulted in the Alliance ganging up on any horde that arrive (usually just me and maybe one other), and then proceeding with their rotation.

I would love some help with one of your higher toons, add Troutbum to your friend list or get the f2p addon to speak.

As of yesterday the rotation has been scrapped. The arena is back to FFA :)

I myself try to show up as much as possible, and believe it or not I am there for the horde. I target fellow allies first, because I can explain it to them and I don't worry about angering them.

Kwoth is there to ensure only 20s are fighting. He will not attack you if you are level 20, regardless of faction.

well i'm taking a break of F2P wow so if someone tried to organize a system of which person gets the trinket, id be there causing some QQ.

sorry lich but scriptcraft (vanilla private server) is just a lot of fun atm.
 
Hilarious, considering the horde favortitism of that server on any other level. Rolled my first 20 there and there was like no one except the odd death knight.

Nice, they explained who Kwoth was to me yesterday (new to the server). That's a really cool thing that he does. Apparently there's also an AC hunter though that doesn't play as nice.

Another thing that I noticed (and I don't know if this is true on the alliance side). Forming horde premades is really difficult because there are no paid players around to help us form groups. Too bad my main account was banned otherwise I would be able to do it. Is there any way to contact other cool paid players (like Kwoth) on that server?
 
I also know a few other paid accounts who can help out from time to time.
Apparently there's also an AC hunter though that doesn't play as nice.

Trialx would probably be the best person to contact about that.

The advantage to Horde side PvP is - at least you can play. Ally side, especially on this server, you can sit all night waiting for people to figure out the addon to premade, then to try to queue, then get a pop. I'm all for Horde communities blossoming.

On this same subject. I noticed since trout started this post that the number of people in the channel has increased (yay!) but the number of premades has not changed (0 :p)
I'm guilty of this myself as I have been focusing on gearing all my 100 toons (ok not so many but it feels like it with the amount of time spent questing and in instances to get gear) but I would love if someone took some time to organize a few games :)
 
What we need is a few well geared and beef-cake tanks to form the basis of our premades. You can't premade without a flag runner. Does anyone have a character with the required stamina? Anything above 2.5k hipoints is good.
 
With good healers you don't really need that much hp. Anything over 1600 buffed with high armor and maybe res should be pretty decent.

Except on daggerspine its like 10000 horde to 900? alliance population.We need the same thing.Except for alliance. There is WAAAAAAY too mu.ch horde out there, aerie peak is horde dominated,etc.etc.Bgs for horde are instant..alliance 15-30 mins hurr durr
(which is y i play ally 60% of the time, 40% horde, i like playing the underdogs)
