Vanilla xp lock

What would you guys think if blizzard added xp lock to vanilla. I know bgs won't give xp but still it would be nice so twinks could also do pve content.

agree with brov, part of the fun was how meticulous u had 2 be in planning your twink completing quests early and exploring the zones, it gives you a better feeling of having worked on your twink as well

I don’t like the idea of people thinking they can mess with vanilla period. The beauty of vanilla is that neither blizzard nor the so called twink community gave a crap about crybabies. The game was what it was. You either won or you lost. Nowadays people make rules so they can win, which doesn’t make them good at anything but making rules.

This, wasn't playing when that was around but I'd love to experience it.

Also, I've been thinking if F2P is introduced to Classic in similar state as it is in modern wow (it might, beause it's a good marketing thing, and I believe ) this might make F2Ps in Classic the only xp-lock experience, as it's forced upon us. I know the chances are small, but I don't see myself invested in classic much if it doesn't have F2P.

Why the hell would you want to be a gimped 19 then (assuming that f2p cap would be 20), if you can be a xp-locked 20?

Reminder: Travel to your destinations in ghost form, you can farm rep as a ghost (timbermaw), 10 minutes if res sickness is alot better then 10 weeks of refarming gear because u got 300xp for discovering winterspring

Back in the day, not dinging 20 was one of the variables we had to take into consideration when gearing, planing the talbar mantle questline with the inferno robe questline, the logistics of vanilla twinking was what got me into twinking in the first place, and seeing a stacked rogue in BG just wreck folks, that too.. lol

Do we know anything about how they will run Vanilla? If they start from launch state and add patches following the original timeline... there won't even be BGs for 6 months at launch.

They’ve already announced they’re coming in with a patch that’s at or after x-server bg’s

I hope they don't add exp off. IT used to take a lot of effort and knowledge to make a great twink, and in some cases making a perfect twink just wasn't possible (mostly latter after the exp requirement per level had been drastically reduced tho).
