EU+US Valor for upgrading HFC items?

So I just ran HFC Mythic and got my 1st item (although not warforged, but whatever).

How am I supposed to do the 2/2 upgrade, if I can't get http://www.wowhead.com/currency=1191/valor ? I know we're talking like 20 in all stats, but it's still worth doing it for BiS.

Confirmed! Got 300 Valor for doing a Mythic dungeon. Does it matter if it's Heroic or Mythic though?

Heroic: 000 Valor Points.
Mythic: 300 Valor Points.
