Username Color

Anyone who donated $10 or more to the 2016 Twink Cup will be able to see this thread. As I mentioned when I first announced the rank, you will be able to choose which username color we add to the rank moving forward.

The ones you can choose from are the following colors representing vanilla enchants:

• Superior Striking
• Fiery Weapon
• Crusader
• Agility

I will keep this poll open until Monday July 4th (4 days from now), after which it will automatically close.

Absolutely. We have a priority system in place for user groups, and because the TC Champion rank is located above the contributor one, you will always keep your gold.

Well, the vote was related to which color we used on the contributor rank, and it would also tell us which of the other colors we could then use on other ranks. The idea is that the contributor rank functions as an "entry level" rank for people who don't have access to veteran or grandfathered yet, but the plan was always to use those colors on other ranks. Right now moderators are blue, veterans white and grandfathered pink (since people seemed to love the old elder rank from TI). We can always revisit these colors later, but for now at least we got the ball rolling.

Not gonna lie, was looking forward to a badge instead of name colors so those of us with already specially colored names (gold for twink cup champs etc.) would have something uniquely tied to the veteran ranks.

The register date carried over from Twinkinfo, so that is taken into account when promoting users.

Currently it's not possible to change username colors, because it's based on a priority system where some ranks overwrite others. I can always look to see if a system like that is possible within XenForo, but it's not something I can promise we'll implement.

If people find themselves unhappy with the priority of their ranks, we can always take another look at how we weigh the usergroups based on community feedback.

Grandfathered should be a bronze ish color. Or something that's antique ish
