Let me know if you have any problems opening the spreadsheet or spot any errors in the data, it uses hyperlink() functions which aren't available in excel 95.



Shame that the HK and KB data is too unreliable to do anything interesting with. Too many people have more WSG KBs than WSG HKs, e.g.

Still looking for more people to gather wsg battleground data for another twink data project I'm working on, offering 2 tabard loot card codes as prizes for people who install a mod, finish a couple of bg's and send me a file so I can build the uploader, details in this thread :

I am wondering what criteria you are using to determine active twinks because that is a lot of data.



out of 1005 twinks from your data extraction

-If someone doesn't have a glyph I am assuming they are inactive or they don't play

-I am also assuming that "date last modified" (some people haven't logged on since the summer) could be used to determine activity
 
yeah I sorted it by falling deaths descending for the lols > epeen factor ;)



Everyone knows how to use excel's data -> sort to sort on a column, but some people may not know how to setup a custom auto filter.



E.g. If you want to view a list of twinks who've won MORE than 100 wsg :



1. Turn Autofilter ON using the Data -> Filter -> AutoFilter option

2. Small triangle dropdown buttons will appear on each column. Select the column(s) you want to filter on, and select custom

3. Select the filter options you want from the Custom AutoFilter window :

You can setup as many filters as you like, and do a data sort afterwards.

no idea...o_O theres an active field but I don't know what it means. I'll be storing player and guild summary data each month to show who's improving and by how much so after a month or two we should be able to see who's active.



I'm looking forward to calculating how twinks and guilds change over time the most of all. Lists of kills and win%'s are great but a bit epeeny for my liking. The twink who improves their stats the most over the next month gets as much respect and kudos from me as the person at the top of a kills list / wsgwin% list.

Thanks for the info. The BigBulloxBot uses modified phparmory classes and curl to fetch the armory data. More info on phparmory :

The version on sourceforge is a little old.



Am very interested in the the .XLS creator, I played around with .csv files but excel refuses to deal with accented / multibyte characters when opening .csv files.



Will look at PHP Simple Excel File and if it deals with names like rástámán (ARGGHHH!!! curse you and your accented characters! lol) properly then I'll use it on a website I'm building atm to host all this armory and battleground dataz.



If you'd like to help I can setup an SVN repository if you promise not to laugh at my cowboy code...
