US needs more Horde

We'll see. I know there aren't many other shields to choose from but I want to be hit capped too. Hard to pass up 11 Stamina and 8 hit rating in the same slot but I'll have to do the math and see what's what.

Rshams are one of the few classes where hit cap is not as significant because WS can not miss, and purge really doesn't see a ton of game breaking misses.

I'd still go with the Eyepatch though.

The biggest hurdle I find to rolling horde is the quest chains for gear. I dread even doing the 2 quests to get Seal of Argas (I only play healers). I don't know if it's because I hate playing alone or quests are just twice as long as heals. Anyone found a way to psych themselves over this, other than rolling on AP?

I didn't even think of that. My head is still in The Burning Crusade days when Earth Shock was an interrupt.

I don't mind PvE, but leveling/questing can become exhausting. It isn't THAT bad. If anything, I find questing easier on a class that can heal. On my Rogue, it was dreadful compared to my Priest because I couldn't Backstab much when soloing, although I could stealth straight to a particular mob I needed to kill such as the one needed for the Seal you mentioned. Every class has it's pros and cons.

Don't do the quests as heals, especially Rsham.

I did the quests 12 times over, including 12x profession grinds and now I need something new :O

Quest chains = greens for leveling Enchanting. That's how I look at it. I just grind em out. Personally I find it easier as a casual player because you can pop in, do a few quests or get to a specific location for a quest and always be making headway.

Especially as a healer you should be able to solo most quest chains. If you are bored, music, tv?

Horde may have less players, but AP horde has more competent/skilled/active players than AP alliance. I've been raising awareness about this and recruiting with macros in BG chat, Going to post a topic with macros included in it soon. Everyone keeps crying about Kincaide and a few others leaving, we need to not worry about them and try to educate the lower geared/skilled players we do have.

@The hunter issue. It's both sides. Both sides have players that roll the easiest class.

That might be true, Will, but Alliance has all the advantages on AP. Almost all of the 85s are on Alliance making it so that getting AGM is nigh impossible. Moreover, the relative faction imbalances with gear makes Alliance gearing much, much easier. One could argue that there is better cloth gear, but lets be honest, would you rather have a lot of geared mages and warlocks or a lot of geared hunters, paladins, rogues and ferals?

There are more hunters on Alliance due to the above gearing issues, but complaining about it won't change it. It's not something that we can fix by complaining on Twink Info as most hunters don't even read this forum, nor would they change if they did. I think more Alliance should do what Will says and spam macros and get more attention to coming here.

THAT BEING SAID: Stop being asshats and coming on Horde and trying to get our help with AGM. Cherry, specifically, came on Horde and asked me to send a tell to two Horde 85s to get help for Verheilen WHILE she had already enlisted two Alliance 85s to help him get the AGM. There is ZERO reason for Horde to help Alliance get an AGM trinket given how much easier it is for you guys to get it in the first place.

does anyone else have a problem with this? i thought the people on this site were into fair and balanced pvp, for the fun of pvp. yet every time i have gone to gurubashi, there are ally 85's killing people while a ally 20 loots the chest. not just randoms either, people from this site. last time i was there i killed a 20 druid, and had a 20 shaman to 50%, when a 85 dk 1 shot me. guess i should make a different topic on this....but whatever.

My point wasn't to throw the hunter nonsense back in the face of the horde. I'm sure a lot of people are tired of the age old ritual of bitching about hunters on these forums. While I respect your opinion, I can find your exact words or something close to them posted by 10+ other users if I'm properly motivated and spend 4 minutes digging through old topics.

That's fair. That's what I meant though. I'm not blaming anyone on this site for the amount of hunters, because at the end of the day there are a lot on both sides. That being said, it's a lot easier to accidentally, or with limited effort, become a geared Alliance hunter vs a Horde one. That's not to say both sides don't have their fair share, I just find myself beset with 5 1400+ Hunters per BG far more frequently on Horde. I'm sure a lot of people have complained in the same manner (after all shared problems are shared problems). =)

I have noticed a ton of new players on AP horde side after purse threw out that AB vid. Pretty crazy the amount of people joining. Have you noticed an increase of people on AP alliance side Will?

I'll be honest, I decided to give Alliance AP a try after the "Call to Arms AP Alliance" topic. Rolled a 20 and played Alliance for a few days.

- I think I saw an average of 10 players online max on Alliance side, even during peak hour - on Horde we regularly get 30+.
- Some players seem really nice and friendly and welcoming, but there are a few who constantly bitch about players on AP Horde (don't think I need to name you).
- Alliance side has WAY better transmogrification options, but other than that, the lack of people to play with made it hard to enjoy

There are some regulars who play on Alliance AP but during peak hour. It felt really lonely to play Alliance. :(

I logged onto my Ap alliance guy a couple times just to see who was on, and i would only see 7 or so people... sad. But then i see the whole list is hunters and then i get angry.

Yeah, I made two Alliance chars. Same problem. A lot of players that bitch/moan or are total noobs. 99% of the players just don't talk or talk shit about how they managed to get AGM with ONLY 3 85s helping them again 2 Horde 20s. Finally, as said before, it was nearly almost all Hunters, Paladins and Rogues. Healers generally ranged all over but mostly priests and I think Sha was the only mage I saw. If Savour didn't exist I don't think I saw an Alliance lock for 99% of the time I played (Lockinfree being the exception but that was a LONG time ago).
