US Horde guilds step up

Aren't you guys as tired as the rest of us running into either a Lethal Synergy or Train Cow 6-8 man premade every game? Horde is sitting around with 3-4 players almost every game that combined don't even have 1300hp. Waw Tawent, LSS, Mayhem, whoever else is out there that I don't know, step up. Run some semi-premades that us strays without large guilds can join and help out with, give LS and Train Cow what they're looking for - competition. I like this bracket and Horde has some fantastic players, but it's frustrating at best running into well organized semi-premades every game. Nobody benefits from that.

Not just horde guilds. Brown started these off by organizing real ID queues. Most of them (like me, for example) have transferred to LS and we are now playing as a guild. So someone needs to start organizing real ID queues on Horde side, and this is something that we said should be done when we were doing the same thing.

Somebody step up, all it takes is to start adding decent people to real ID, grouping up, getting in vent, and start giving these "semi-premades" some competition. It's much more fun for us to be challenged by a group of real ID pugs than an organized guild (even though LSFTW has been the only one queue'ing with 5+).

So, somebody on Horde side do it. Maybe you. Just someone. All it requires is someone stepping up to the leadership role and get things going.

Warpath on Hyjal is definately interested in picking up the US Horde slack! Our success in recruiting from our server has been marginal. However, we have alot to offer those who might want to transfer here or even build new toons. Most tradeskills are covered, along with most of the necessary twink recipes. We are only level 5 atm so we cant offer Helm or cloak BoAs yet, but we have access to guilds where you can build rep for them, along with toons who can certainly assist you with farming gear and fast transportation. For more information you can contact me here on the boards, or speak with Warwagon on Hyjal.

I don't see the reasoning behind complaining about faction imbalance. Faction balance changes frequently throughout the game. There's really nothing you can do. It happens naturally as players come and go and switch factions. It's a never ending cycle.

I'd love to do it. I don't know enough people who would be interested, or who would even take me seriously enough to join though I think. I'm still fairly new to the bracket.

If there are Horde who want to do it, come find me in game. I won't post RealID info on the forums.

Pizza, I respect you for what you've done for 19s, but honestly you have no idea what faction imbalance is like. Everyone in the bracket knows that you and most of Waw Tawent /afk any battle you're in that doesn't look like a win, and then you switch to the winning side. I've been here a little over a month and I've seen it countless times. Same thing happened in 29s and 39s when you tried them too.

I will speak for Laughing Skull FTW here... Throughout the day we were queueing with 5+ people, whether if it was on horde or alliance depending on which faction we thought needed the balance. We had some awesome games throughout the day, about the most fun i have had in the bracket in the past weeks competition wise. Please give me shout if you would like to queue up with us on horde or alliance. You can contact me for Real ID on Laughing Skull on Hunnybuns (horde) or Bunnyhuns (alliance). Also for players who are devoted to the bracket we are recruiting as always on our horde guild and our newly formed alliance guild, looking for more members to join our family! The more the merrier!

My guild AFKs out of a lot of pugs, but they are just that, pugs. There are no rules or regulations. No one is required to stay in them if they don't want to. If guilds/players have a problem with us AFKing out of pugs then they should join an Alliance guild and premade us when we're looking for premades. Premades are where guilds can show just how dominate they really are and that's where my guild has always come out on top.

I did AFK out of pugs in the 29/39 brackets also; but just like 19s, I had a leadership role in the top premading guild of those brackets helping to lead successful premades time and time again.

And you can't be serious saying I have no idea what faction imbalance is at 19. I've been playing in this bracket actively since '06 and have generated over 300k HKs across my 19s. I've played/won more WSGs (6.7k) on my Horde Hunter than any player has in all of WoW, US or EU. I've seen it all.

Don't take this as an attack against you Gliiese. I'm just trying to spice up this thread a little bit. Get the people going.

Of course there aren't official rules dictating that you must stay in any battleground you join, but with Waw Tawent being some of the best Horde twinks in the game, you should have the common courtesy to stick it out until the end with your teammates and try your hardest. Horde has won games that you guys have left, and lost a fair share after you've left too. The only thing that AFKing does it preserve a false and inflated sense of Warsong victory that you guys pride yourselves in.

And I know the guilds you were in, I fought against you with Detox in 29s, and we were on the same team in 39s.

90% of Warsong isn't premade games, the success of the bracket lies in pugs.

The problem here is that Lethal Synergy and Train Cow are doing to pugs right now what Waw Tawent did before - queueing with 6-8 players and wrecking every pug team. That doesn't benefit anyone. LS and TC don't get any practice that will help them improve, they just get free steamroll victories and Horde pugs get disgruntled and tired of seeing the same things.

Spring break starts friday for me, so I'll be able to play for a week. I'm sure games will be the same as always.

Yep, 99.99% of WSGs are pugs. I wish it wasn't so.

We might make a come back in the near future. We might not. We'll just have to see how things turn out.

real tinks don't run in 5 mans and stick it out to the end

Well it is, so the sooner you guys and LS and/or TC can sort our your premade wankery and stop ruining pug games, the better off the whole bracket will be :)

I think what he means is that queuing with your mini-mades you don't understand how annoying it is. He is not implying that you don't know, more or less you are not effected the same as others. How I read it anyways

@Gil - I feel for you but Alliance has endured what you are feeling not for a lot longer. When Pizza went for his Bloodthirsty title, nearly every single game was a premade ~ Slaughter ~ GY camp.

As pizza said, bracket shifts all the time

I'm guessing that's directed at me=)

I knew that was you when I asked by the way, I just felt like playing along ;)

And Kitn, my lord. It must be fun for you rolling with the best that the Alliance has to offer and utterly crushing the 600hp "twinks" that the Horde has while you guys earn your well-fought victories.

Just you wait until we have a comparable team, we'll come down from the secret tree club-house. You'll either get wrecked or AFK, the latter being the most likely.

This is what he means to say if you weed out all of the bull crap
I don't influence faction imbalances.

Says the community leader who:

A) Buys out all competition.
-This is a negative influence on the bracket-

B) Queues with 2+ healbots every game (or 4-9 other guildies). Generally fully buffed.
-This is a negative influence on the bracket-

C) Gy farms endlessly with numerous guildies/healbots which creates undeniable hesitation for the opposing faction, which usually kills games for the night.
-This is a negative influence on the bracket-

D) After one-siding the entire bracket for a night, switches faction with the same guildies and healbots to one-side the other faction.
-This is a negative influence on the bracket-

E) /AFKs upon death or being capped on which ripples to many others who look up to him as a result of his shiny TI Title. This is not how losses should be deat with, nor is it sportsman-like conduct.
-This is a negative influence on the bracket-

Edit:
Change all of the Rs to Ws when read aloud.
