I dont get how these are grandfathered, I must be missing something. Do they have a really low level requirement or something.

In patch 1.1, over 6 years ago, Blizzard removed the ability to craft Green Lenses with +Stats (Stamina, Intellect, Eagle, Whale, Owl, Wolf) and only kept the +Wrath ones (Fiery, Shadow, Frost, Nature, Healing, etc.).

Very few oldschool lenses that are still unbound exist, and as they are Best-in-Slot for many classes in the 39 bracket, their price is high.

Green Lens of Stamina & Eagle are currently on reserve, a few intellect lenses might be aswell.

All the others are still up for grabs!
 
If it was pre cata changes and this was EU Id make a priest just to use a eagle lense
 
The Eagle lens have been sold for 75k to Smiffy.

The Stamina lens will be sold tomorrow to Mcer.

If you're getting anything under the price of 2 years of game time, don't make the deal with Mcer since that's what he values a Stam Lens at apparently ;)

Just got another one of those myself (COI). Sure you will find out swiftly that it's animation is bugged. If you intend to equip it (or anyone else with one), please bump the Carved Ogre Idol post on the bugs forum and request a sticky. Been happening a couple months now i think.
