In the AP F2P channel. A few seem to be in the channel and not running the mod. Also I've noticed an 85 DK named Lovefox, no clue who it is or if they even have a 20 but they seem to show up to nearly every Garubashi just to stop people from looting the chest (too cowardly to stay and fight).

I know in the past we have had some 85's join the channel, and even run the mod, just to grief / hinder trials.

My 85's are Undeadbeef and Ðivine
 
If they aren't running the addon then they should not be in the channel, and whoever has owner/mod for the channel should ban them.

The only reason any character with a level over 20 should be in the channel is because they are available to help level 20s (not just invites, but also eg. ability to answer questions). Without the addon they cannot see anything F2Ps are saying, so they cannot help, and have no place being there.

Another concern with unwelcome high levels being in the channel is the way that the game reassigns channel owner when the current owner leaves, giving priority to the character with the earliest creation date. The addon makes an attempt to pass ownership to a level 20 on a trial account, but it can't always achieve this, as sometimes people DC, or aren't running a version of the addon that has this function.

For that reason too, any characters not running the addon should be banned from the channel, to prevent them from getting ownership, setting a password on the channel, and banning everyone in it.

There are one, or two, 85s on the alliance side that don't run the addon constantly and will hang out occasionally in chat. Not for any mischievous reasons, but rather because in the past some of the p2p that supposedly "help" our f2ps got stupid with ownership, and let the power go to their heads... For example: threatening to ban f2p players for even trying to get the chest in the arena.

Needless to say, I am glad the unknowns were there, in said case, to correct the weakness present in the current system. So, don't go roping everyone in together...

While you could be right about Lovefox, weren't you also showing up to nearly every Garubashi recently just to stop people, who are outside your special interest group, from looting the chest? Don't get me wrong, you have an 85 and can 1-shot my 20, that's fine, that's the way the game works... But complaining about someone else doing the same thing? I'm sure he's showing up to "help" someone too.
 
for those wondering i am lovefox, apparently ive been told im gaining a bad reputation in this community and i dont know why? i do have the addon i dont talk in chat much i just let people group on me if they need to. i primarily play on alliance on my lvl 20 trial, however i dont use lovefox to aid my self in getting the agm i only use him to kill twinks who have help from other lvl 85s, if theres people who dont have help from other 85s i let them take the chest i ONLY kill those who bring help with them and i have successively maniged to allow some twinks to loot the arena master from under the nose of 85s, somtimes even 2 or 3 of them!. although i some times kill 20s without help by mistake as i fly in and use death and decay and they fly back out as dnd dosent put you in combat. anyway thats all i have to say alot of you hordies wont know me anyway although there is a few who i have helped with simple things such as flying them around on my 2 person mount for exploration or to help them with the fishing tornament.

Yeah I remember you kept trying to kill my 20 (Vury) but all it does is waste time because I'm going to put you on a spawn timer and loot it before it despawns.
 
it depends how much help they have, if its just one or 2 85s i can swoop down kill him and fly back out, also the other lvl 20s usally kill the twink being helped also, sometimes are rez timers get synced up so we both spawn togeather and they cant get it, earlyer today i actully helped a lvl 20 ally druid get the chest from noble and some 1 else while they were both on the arena floor, the druid was opening the chest and i swooped down just above the ground to grab there attention and the driud got it :D

Actually, I announced a week ago in this thread: http://www.twinkinfo.com/f2p-twinking/36691-beefs-rare-pet-contest.html my intent on getting an AGM on my warrior. I offered up payment, asked the favor of friends and guildies, and I showed up with the idea of obtaining my trinket as quickly and with the least killing (especially of 20's but there was often a zerg trying to interrupt) to obtain it. I am done and don't plan to return to Garubashi anytime soon. For anyone that was killed in the process I am TRULY sorry. I did however, give plenty of fair warning of my intent. My complaint was versus a person or people that show up purely for the intent of delaying what was inevitable. NOW, back on topic. I think as Yasueh pointed out we should be a little more diligent in our monitoring of the F2P channel.

I am Nobleman and we let the druid loot it lol. You and Bezercker were "the bad guys" who kept swooping down and ruining the FFA.
