unholy weapon any good?

I was wondering now with the buff, how does unholy do now? Is it worth getting?

can't crit and fiery outperforms its damage, that plus cursed felblade for debuff luls is about all i can think of it being good for

It's not worth it. Go with Life Stealing or Fiery Weapon.

I tried Unholy, after a couple of games with it, I switched straight back to fiery!

Unholy enchant does 43-56 shadow damage which is approximately same damage as a fiery crit. Ontop of this it reduces enemy melee damage, which can be neat in situations.



Before actually doing the proper calcuations I wouldn't dismiss this enchant. (They might've been done, I've just not seen any, since I'm not generally interested in 1-h weapon enchants.)

The damage is true, but the proc rate on Unholy is about 2-3 procs less than Fiery, which is why Fiery AND Lifestealing are better all around enchants.
