Ultra rare items in every slot

    • So hypotheticly if someone wanted to equip the rarest drop boe's (that still drop) in every slot which items at each slot would be in contention. For example Pod or Jackhammer, Hotshot Pilot's Gloves, Miner's Hat of the Deep, Gloomshroud Armor etc. No real implecations but would just be cool and a fun discussion about what's each slots rarest.

    Pendulum of Doom, The Jackhammer, Spaulders of a Lost Age from ulduman are still very rare
     
    This might be a better idea,

    Head- Miner's Hat of the Deep
    Shoulders- Spaulder's of a lost age
    Chest- Gloomshroud Armor
    Gloves- Hotshot's Pilot's Gloves
    Belt-
    Legs
    Boots-Caverndeep Trudgers

    Weapon- Pendulum of Doom

    We can see what the best set we can come up with could be
     
    With the new scaling system introduced a couple months ago, you will probably never see any on the Uldaman ultra rares below level 60. Aint no one got time for 10000+ runs on a 39-ish toon, even with company of a 120.
     
    Are any of the items good ? now or even back in the day? Or is the lure of them just the actual rare collecting type thing?
     
    @Veechard has something along the lines of this, iirc he called it a gold twink or something

    his is level 1 though so like theres no ultra rares from ulda nd such, but still some of the most expensive items accessible to a lvl 1
     
    Depends.

    This is a general thread, so we aren't talking about any specific level bracket? Does it have to be twinking?

    The whole "Items that still drop" kinda ruins the fun of this.

    But then again, I guess if you rule that out, Noktyn completely has the neck game on lock.

    Got a lvl 70 BoW for 10k on BH a couple months back, also, no, it doesn't apply to epic boe world drops, those come up way too often to even be in the discussion of an ultra rare set.

    I actually also have a 60 mage with some extremely rare stuff.

    Papal Fez
    Glacial Wrists
    Glacial Gloves
    Glacial Cloak
    Walking Boots
    Defies Mage Staff
    And those blue BOE legs old scholo/strat, don’t remember which or name. plaguehunter Legs maybe?

    The toon is constant WIP and I only un-delete him when I get a piece to equip on him

    I said items that still drop so if someone was slightly insane and wanted to try and get the full set of whatever we came up they could go a try and farm it
