Twitter army ASSEMBLE!

It has come to my attention that game developers these days pay more attention to twitter than anything else. It has also come to my attention that 19's have already waged a successful twitter campaign to get skirmishes in the 19 bracket.

It is time to unite and build on this victory, there are many issues shared across all brackets.

We have a unique ability as exp off players, we are organized in far larger numbers than endgame players by the necessities of EXP off brackets. We need to take this strength and use it to cut through the noise on twitter.

The first issue I would like to move on is the requirement to turn EXP on to wargame.

People have lost irreplaceable tinks to this issue, it is also costing us in terms of recruitment. No one sees 20+ toons standing around the exp off vendor, they WOULD see those toons if we were standing outside org or SW dueling etc. Further this is a bug IMO and should be another easy win for twinks.

does your xp even need to be on to wargame? at 100 it doesn't matter so does it stop us still?

blizzard only concentrate on the where the highest player bases is i.e end game.

everything its working to a degree there so i wont waste resources on low end game. i do agree the in game twitter/selfie bullshit is a total waste of resources.


Remember, blizzard don't technically support "twinking" as its a game within a game. but you cant at least try xD

The plan is to start tiny, get what is essentially a bug FIXED.

I seriously doubt that we could ever build enough influence to get them to do more than laugh at balance requests.

On the other hand getting some grandfathering reversed, maybe acces to some more BG's etc, I believe these things are within our grasp if we can just pull together and push for it.

As I pointed out in the OP, we tinks are in a unique position due to our level of organization in comparison to end game players, we can use that to amplify our voice.

A blue on the EU forums said that they do, another agreed. Can't seem to find it atm but it is there. It had to do with the segeration of twinks to the xp-off brackets. That they said before that "we don't support twinking" is a lie to calm the targetted mass of players, just read the manual where it is even pointed out and creaed before the launch of this game in 2004. It is just a reaction for making mass $$. Wake up.

I've used the reference in the game manual as a defense on the forums many times, but the simple fact is they are not going to be persuaded to fix balancing, at least not mid expansion.

Small things, bug fixes, getting some drops back in dungeons things of this nature we CAN achieve if we work together on this.

What does that even mean? That's your top priority? The top priority is to get rid of Alterac Valley, IoC from low level brackets. If not more maps. The top priority is to fix the god damn queues...

The que issue has been affecting endgame as well, and seems to have been fixed with the removal of the ability to que random and specific bg's at the same time.

I deemed it a waste of resources and not our fight.

Removing the ability to queue random and specific will not fix the greater part of the problems. 99% of twinks couldn't care less about preforms, they want action at the click of the button against random and new people, not against old timmy and kevin; they don't go on the forums or twitter to see what's up for dinner... Why don't you make a poll to see what's people priority, wargames or battlegrounds. I rest my case it's your and your wargames buddies priority. Because you're coming out of nowhere with this wargame thing. Never heard of it.

I do agree that we should be able to wargame with xp lock. But I dont know if that should have priority.
One big thing to go for would be the enchant scaling of elemental force, crusader, woodchucker and xray imo. They forgot those while they turned down everything else.
Could actually make both brackets (10-19 and 20-29) less bursty.
It also affects normal battlegrounds so there could be a chance to get it scaled down.

AV is what did the most damage to que times in terms of new bg's at low level another 10 man BG would not have the drastic impact that AV did. Beyond that ques have been affected by a bug, that is why they no longer let you que for random and a specific at the same time.
