If you want people to take this seriously and you're looking for donations you need to firstly, not be playing in the tournament yourself and be trusted and also do things professionally otherwise no one will take it serious and I'm pretty sure people won't just PayPal money to you. Just saying need to do it the US did.

This thread shows exactly why there is no cup happening. Ppl rather make jokes about it than helping in any way. Ppl just want it all to be placed on their bed on a silver plate. If you want a more serious thread, make one. You want more teams to show themselves, present yours. Want better price? Donate something. Give the guy some credits for trying, not all ppl got the contacts or money to make something like the US cup and those who actually got the will should not be the targets for your comfort. This is not a one man job. Help or don't even bother commenting.

Doesn't require money to make a well presented and organised thread, and be clear with how things are going to happen, I'm all for helping and donating money but not just going to give money to someone that just says 'Taking donations now' like for something like this to happen it needs to well organised just saying.

I think you interpret that wrong. Its not that people dont want to help... They are eagerly waiting for the official post to be sure that this will happen. Many cant understand why quack and his "team" is waiting with the post. Teams, donations, etc. all comes with the final post when things get serious. But somehow quack expects all that to happen before the post is even made. It simply wont. Who would donate anything at this point? Thats why people are joking around and having the feeling that it wont happen. And you cant really expect others to make the post. Thats in responsibility of the organisation team.
And that you would not join the TC just because of a bit banter on TI... well your decision but I think its rediculous

The reason why I haven't made an official thread is because of the fact I wanna get all the rough work out of the way. I want to have at least 75% of the work done. Whenever you write a paper for school you do out a plan of it before hand, then you write it out.
I just want to know
• What teams are going to play.
• Who's interested in Commentating.
• Who's willing to donate ( I'm not asking for up front cash, the cash will not be put in my bank or Paypal it will be put in my associates account ).
• What dates best suit people.
There's no point rushing this, and thank you Victus and Jva for your contributes.
As for you jhough, if you want to do something don't let a couple of people put you off it because you don't agree with their attitude. Do all your talking in Gulch, I do appreciate your support however!

Yes, I see where you are coming from when it comes to the donations, I agree. What I'm trying to say is that ppl are going on about it in the wrong way. If I were Quack I would go all in on the introduction, set a late date and plan it after the ppl's reaction and interest. Now it haven't happened in that way. There is a way to tell him what you would want and the way some ppl have done it in this thread. I just want ppl to stop adding pressure to a all ready pressured guy by making jokes about it.

Maybe you are right, maybe I do miss something. It's like I told viti, if he does something wrong, tell him what you want. If it doesn't work try again, if it takes time do a friendly bump. I don't like how ppl are judging the whole thing because of a late post and jokes about it instead of helping. The responsible ppl should have done it in another way maybe but it''s all about the community coming together just like on US. Why not help them make a serious thread?
How would the cup look now if the thread was made? All the guys need is some guidance and a kick in the butt to get something big started. The jokes doesn't help at all. Have you guys really lost all the faith in these guys already?
Tell the guys what you would be willing to donate if the thread was complete and that they should have waited a bit with those kind of things instead, win/win.
And I'm sure you know that this thread is not the only reason why I chose not to join. I don't play the bracket, sure I don't like the community very much but that's from my old 19 experience and not this thread. The only reason I actually thought about joining was to help out and to play with the good ppl I actually know from the bracket. Not gonna explain it anymore than that. I will still help in any way I can.
