Turbulent timeways coming back? ilvl loot?

I heard news that the turbulent timeways Timewalking is coming back with the inclusion of BFA dungeon. for June-July-Aug. Are these up on PTR or is the loot tables up? Just wondering if the loot is back to ilvl 60 for lvl 11 and ilvl 96 for lvl 20s

I saw a post on Reddit that it looks like in 11.1.7 scaling will be changed so much that level 10-11 characters will become rubbish, at least in BfA dungeons

The TW ilvl nerf isn't being rolled back. Despite what some seem to think, ilvl 60 wasn't a TT boost. It just got nerfed.

They've been testing BFA TW on PTR so you can probably see the loot tables there if you copy over a toon.

But it seems like 11.1.7 will likely kill twinks either entirely or in TW in general.

My TT tip is: once you get the 3 hour weekly buff for the achievement, you can log off and log back on the next week to do 1 dungeon, get credit for that week aand refresh the buff. So if you're just chasing the achievement, it's only 1 TW dungeon per week after the first week (where it's 4). Use a toon you won't otherwise play.

I just noticed on the current time walking it is rolled back… crazy, and all my ilvl 43 gear is now ilvl 60

Yeah i saw this as well and I am... confused. When Blizzard nerfed TW ilvl they left current gear alone. Now this is a buff not a nerf but historically Blizzard doesn't do this. For example, when Blizzard have changed items from soulbound to BoA (before Warbands) they created a new item ID and didn't change the existing ones to BoA. We can only speculate about what's going on here because AFAIK Blizzard hasn't made a statement

It's possibly a bug and will be reverted. I suspect that, if so, ilvl 60 (at level 11) drops won't be changed. No idea about existing ilvl 43 drops.

Another possibility is that it's related to the upcoming 11.1.7 nerfs to twinks where ilvl 60 vs 43 makes a difference somehow. Like maybe ilvl 43 was too bad? I really don't know.
