"There are worse things to worry about" is irrelevant because it doesn't relate to the game at all. Of course there are a billion other things to worry about in the world, but we play this game to alleviate worry. We play this game as a hobby, an escape, and as a means of disconnecting from real life and enjoying something fun. The bracket would benefit as a whole from more players willing to help others and get along, rather than egos raging out at the first chance they get because someone isn't playing to their expectation.

I don't play US.

EU isn't dead.

I might be an ego, refuse to give friendly advice and only trashtalk my teammates but then again, my methods don't show less result than the ones of guilds like HSA that actively tried to get players to join the bracket, make them feel comfortable and give them friendly advice. And I'm not trying to help anyone.

It's not relevant that there are other things to worry about, but comparing me with SS members obviously is. You know, that might have actually offended me. And you know, maybe I just play this game to slip away from reality for a while and avoid having to worry. To then see words like those on my computer screen makes me really, really sad. You actually made me quit the game now. That's low.

If people can't man up and try to improve when others talk down on them then that's their issue. They have the possibility to move to the active f2p bracket where everyone is nice and noone even thinks about improving. There is a reason why you see most good players "flame/rage" on the worse ones. The better players have obviously been "flamed" by better players some time, but actually took it as advice and tried to improve their gameplay instead of crying.

The 19 bracket is so many levels above the f2p bracket. F2p is hardly competitive at all, so it's difficult for the players in that bracket to improve. Competition is a major mechanic in evolution of all sorts. Be it evolution of economy, politics or the skill level in the 19 bracket in WoW. In dictatorships where only one political party is allowed, the party doesn't necessarily need to please the people. It's only time-wasting since they remain in a governing position either way. If there isn't any competition, there are no reasons to improve.
