trying something new

I really like AB, glad to see a video on one of my favorite BGs, maybe do EoTS next.

good video!

I wonder what people prefer? Do you guys like this kind of "review analysis" or do you like live / spontaneous analysis?

I feel that PVP videos should be more entertaining (as opposed to being technical), i.e., live commentary (as if you are streaming) would pull the audience in a bit more.

Maybe a combination of remarks on screen (added afterwards) and recorded live commentary?

Good video nonetheless.

Review analysis for me. As in, "(pauses) now I am going to do the wrong thing and here's why: look at the map ...". Live analysis misses too much. As for being entertaining, the more useful plays you do, the more you have to talk about during the review, the more interesting / entertaining it is.

If you have the right kind of person doing it, live commentary is great. Some of the announcers in esports (like, especially the moba scene) are funny as fuck. But the wrong person... man its a drag.

review analysis is also enjoyable, at least for me. Though Im not sure how useful it is for pug games. No dig at mindmaster here, explaining why *you* do something is fun. But I personally just prefer seeing someone look at it from a team angle.

33% 122 haste and turns 26% when in bg
haste good for holys 3 instant spells (bubble renew dot) as i can throw them out quicker
but having to much haste and neglecting int/ver makes makes those 3 spells weak no matter how fast you dish them out
so just gotta find the balance

I was contemplating swapping my +3 gems for 2/2 haste vers ones. Maybe a 50/50 mix of the 2. Either that or just looking for some decent haste/vers socket rings.

i dont really know what people prefer i just randomly felt like doing this video. looked for a good game i recorded and did a 1 take on analyzing of video add it on editor basic edit such as fast pace here and there to remove dead space to shorten video. after rewatching it felt cringe of how many times i stuttered and repeated stuff but whatever im to cool and dont care and just posted. prob took me less than an hour to make the video.

if you have the mindset to use xpoff to find an audience or grow its not gonna work. gonna have to try harder and put ur stuff on other flatform.

i did some live commentary before (steaming) but many things are happening i could never explain in words every thought process. tried streaming to entertain and be energetic but i wasnt feeling it after a few days. especially in this small community some people will go out of their way to form groups just to target 1 player and it'll get worse if you stream. at that point id go group up with some people and either 2 things happen they stop queuing or theyll sync 2 groups so they can outnumber just cause ego wont let them lose. both event are boring and not worth playing.

i do have some project of some video idea like *tips to improve gameplay* with game footage. maybe a *gear guide* on how to priest (all 3 spec) but its gonna be subjective cause of how many possible stats and playstyle there is. and of course do i want other players out there like me? i know how threatening myself compared to other players out there i know my worth. even from this 20 min video you can learn abit on how u can maximize ur play but you know easier said than done.

end game is also really fun right now compared to destroying kids in low level bg so its gonna take a while to actually dedicate myself on making guide and whatnot videos.

with stats i try to even them out with haste=ver
all the gear on this priest u can still get
its a simple thinking i dont wanna say stuff like *if only i had more haste/ver i could have done that better*

my main priest is a monster with its stats and i know it

i rich *ingame* but im not stupid rich and buy a 2ed good ring thats adap/imp/aurora with speed selling for over 1m. even buying this imp ring with speed cost me 550k and it still hurts a bit

The 49 weapon actually helps greatly, it has so much int already that you can focus on other stats with other slots. Maybe take a closer look at stamina as each stamina offers 16 flat health (close to 20 effective health) whereas each vers only offers around 5 to 8 effective health.

I'll accept the blow back here, but:

I'd be all for more visual edits/fun commentary and less technical.

1) Let's be honest your gear is already in the .1%... so doing a "this is how you should play" video is really pointless/irrievelnt for 99.9% of people who are going to watch it... because they won't be able to replicate it and honestly trying to replicate the way you are able to play with that gear would only hurt/cripple somebody who is in regular greens/dungeon/low artifact gear.

2) I did like the technical aspects, but again, it's not really relevant except for your personal benefit as a player trying to improve, mainly because of the gear discrepancy between you and the rest of people.

3) "Destroying kids" and other verbiage like that I would leave out, because people know its your gear, just don't come across as an ass for no reason.

Top notch regardless.

@glancealot You seem to be most responsive I've seen with the runeblade so I'm @ you. Just wanted to know if there are any tips or advice on farming that. I thought of trying to solo over and over but that seems like it would take a long time. (20's aren't real common on my server and I'm fresh out of friends to carry me or whatever) Also if it seems completely obsolete on a warrior I will do it on the Paladin as I hear the HPS is different per class. Thanks,

Just get random 60s to run you through, tell them that they can have the mount if it drops. /who 60 or just pm all 60 that port to dalaran or org (stand at where they land), acting in a respectful manner will get you pretty far without being seen as a beggar. i made so many btag friends that would run me through dungeons, at the end i had to delete some of them because my list was getting too full. I think it is a good weapon for several classes if played right, including even hunter.

RB at lvl20 just gives me the fuzzies, so I wanna give it a shot. Appreciate the feedback I agree, a speed increase is always juicy.
IMO Pre-SL, Fury was the way to go. Now it seems half and half. I'm gonna' prepare for both obviously. Hopefully it's just personal preference. /fingerscrossed

Any reason why you are using the staff instead of MH+OH?

About the topic... I liked the video but I think it's too long. The commentary is good but maybe edit shorter clips while you comment. Some arena matches would be nice too

yeah I have the same weapon ilvl 49 and neck as your gobo does and I sit around 15/15 haste vers in bgs atm def need to regem later.

ive seen players wihtout ilvl 49 weapon or ilvl 44 neck be a better player than those that have it. so its not always about gear as the reason of me doing what im doing.
im not trying to do a "this is how you should play" but a "tips to improve"
as in this video i was in 3 encounters in group fight and i always mentioned me going to a be better position so i have the situation under my control. its one of the most common mistake of how somrthing can easily go wrong. the difficult part of what im doing would be putting pressure and healing teammates in between running around to find a position to stay alive and fear/stun.

also i have no faint that a video of explaining stuff can be replicated. the many years of experience compared to other cant be learned instant. even if my neck/weapon was swaped to a socket ilvl 28/ilvl 34 artifact its not gonna suddenly make preform worse than what im doing in the video

If I could have the shadow artifact with ilvl 49 I choose that over staff for more spell power but I only done disc story line before i was fixed
