trinkets with effect reduced ?

Been hearing talk about some trinkets that are reduced inside instanced PvP. Just wondering if anyone has seen/experienced this in the 20 bracket. The biggest offenders I can see would be;

How are these two inside the BG? Nerfed to the ground or still worth the effort to get them?

I havent tested either in a long time but early in the xpac the medallion was garbage. it was like a 300 health increase and single digit mastery.

Maybe thats changed but someone else would have to chime in with more recent knowledge.

While on the subject of trinkets why do so many use the dragonling? Do the drakes actually do damage, or is it purely for the secondary stat boost?

the secondary stats. and the dragon does enough to not be useless, I guess, but 30 secondary stats is pretty sick

The dragon actually hits for alright damage, the thing is that it's active for a period of time, and chases its primary target (think like a mobile void tendril that does 47-79 damage per hit) plus the target uncapped AoE lightning blast is just sick

Do the tooltips show the adjusted effects inside, or actually need to proc it and check buff?

Need to check buff afik and like Chops says there is a lot and no consistency between what dose and dose not get affected.

Also dragonlings are awesome for eating traps and confusing tab targeters.
