Transmogs (help?)

I took a break basically right when transmogs were available. So a few questions. How do you transmog higher level gear to the BoA? Can you even still do it? If not, what are the alternatives for a leather set? Thanks!

Well when it came out, you could xmog your gear into high level gear. Now it is changed to quest gear (regardless of level) can be transmogged. I believe you still can transmog to high level gear, but as soon as you zone into a wsg it will revert to its regular appearance. As for a leather set, it can be transmogged if it is like stained shadowcraft tunic since it is always leather. Things like the beastmaster pauldrons can't because it changes from mail-> leather. Havnt tried it if is your own level gear, but def off limits for high level quest gear.

anything that perfectly matches the BoA item can be mogged (ie no level req, same armor type always, slot).

There isn't a huge variety of things to mog, but you can match a look if you search for the right items.
This can be mogged onto BoA staves and mailed, this can't.

Two quests that give pretty sweet helm & weapon transmogs.

Helm: Teron Gorefiend, I am... - Quest - World of Warcraft

Weapon: The Cipher of Damnation - Quest - World of Warcraft

Both require a long quest grind in Shadowmoon Valley.

Change filters up and you can easily find mogging items.
