It should be said that Blizzard had never intentionally created transmogrification to be fun, so Heirlooms will now always be stripped of their transmogs through the mail. :C

I'm glad I made my set early then. I hope they won't strip off transmogs from existing gear.

So it looks like existing transmogs will remain, but they can no longer be mailed, so don't mail your heirloom pieces to alts if they are sitting on your 39s with transmogs. Time to go buy another set for leveling.

I just mailed a transmogged heirloom last night (December 14th) without a problem. So the hotfix didn't quite fix things, apparently.

It seems all fixed now. However, my axe that was in my inventory has its transmog still on. I can't get transmoged gear through the mail though.

are you sure it's fixed? i did it 2 days ago and mailed helm, shoulders, chest and weap to one of my 29s from my 70 and the weap worked first try, i just didnt have the money at the time to continue to try the rest.



also, here is a pic of my xmog on my 39 rogue. wanted to see what kind of look i could get without mogging boas...i'm still missing the gloves to finish my set though.

It could be weapons that work but nothing else does, but I wouldn't dare to try and mail my transmog'd axe now. I can't get any of my gear to keep its transmog though. And gear that I had on my warrior and was wearing that was transmog'd lost its transmog and won't take any more.

Cause you can't transmog heirloom chest, helm and shoulders to the mail Scarlet set. They are considered plate. AKA with this fix, you can't transmog warrior/pally heirlooms until level 40.

Sucks that I can't transmog items that change proficiency at 40.. else I had a wicked nice chest.. ugly shirt will have to do I guess..

I was going to start a Transmog thread to get some life back into this bracket of the forum. Then I remembered there was already one and eventually here I found it!

So rather than make a new one, let's bump this and start seeing other and/or new tranmogs people may have on their 39's.

All I really did was change my tabard and shoulders. When I actually have time to I'll make something neat. I still have all my gear from 19s/29s, so it should be interesting
