Transmogification

Hey guys,



It seems Blizzard has finally fixed the transmogrifcation bug.



From their latest patch fixes:



As mentioned in the original post, mailing an heirloom to your alt will strip any transmogrification effect. There was a bug that sometimes prevented this from happening, but it is now fixed.



Would anyone like to try 4-5 times to confirm this is true? I can't get on WoW atm.

I did one this morning , worked on helm 2nd try.

i just got on and did a weapon, it worked fine first try.

Just worked for me too.

I have found the helm works on the 2nd try and everything else works on the first try. Not sure if that's true, but that's how it's been going for me.

Update: Added tonight's hotfixes, which include other Dragon Soul changes. Not all of them will be active until realm maintenance takes place.

From MMO-CHAMPION ... it's possible that this comes into effect tomorrow. So if you have any transmog thoughts, do them tonight just to be safe.



It does currently still work, I just xmog'd helm, shoulders, and chest in the first try @ 8:38pm server time

Successfully transmogged headmaster's charged and put it on my level 18 druid with no problem!

this was an actual blue post saying it was hotfixed. apparently the blues were wrong, not the OP ... what it does mean is that since they are aware...they are working on it and we need to hustle with any xmogs we need done ... stupid Hellfire Ramparts mace needs to drop NAO

Heya. Hadn't seen this elsewhere and tested last night... using the drag-from-slot-to-mailbox technique, cross-faction heirlooms keep their opposite-faction xmogs.

Todays rolling restarts still did not fix the bug in case anyone was wondering ... so transmog away!
